member and Gabbai of the Young Marrieds’ Minyan. Over the years he

took on a more active role serving on various committees such as the

Charlie has practiced criminal litigation for more than a decade. He began

his legal career as a prosecutor for the United States Navy and then with

the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. He brings his extensive

litigation experience to private practice.

As a Navy Lieutenant, Charlie prosecuted cases for the Navy and Marine

Corps throughout the Southeast United States, Caribbean and

Guantanamo Bay Cuba. He also served on the staff of the Judge Advocate

General, where he served as a Criminal Appellate Attorney and a National

Security Law case advisor. He also served in the White House as a military

protocol aide.

Rochelle and I moved to Plainview in order to be part of the Young Israel

synagogue. Neither she nor I grew up orthodox. Rather this is a journey

we began together soon after we married. Rochelle was the founding co

president of MALI, the Plainview mikveh association and has been active

in both the synagogue and in HANC, the Hebrew Academy of Nas

County. I have assumed multiple responsibilities with the synagogue
