Imagine a masquerade ball – slightly whimsical and eerie.
Dancers stiffly sway from side to side. Their gowns are
transparent wherever possible and inside out at the seams.
Colors seem out of place, verboten if you will. The song
that plays is dusty and off-key.
Suddenly, the doors open with a bang, three masked figures
approach the ball full of life, yelling and laughing. They take
over their surroundings and start fulfilling their purposeful
entrance: to spread their mantra SKINY ≠ skinny.
SKINY is derived from SKIN for You. Simply stated: the
bodywear brand makes products that are to serve as your
second skin. They are meant for EVERY ONE. Because
everybody may not be skinny (thankfully!), but SKINY is
everybody. And every body. Hence our mission statement:
Every Body In.
The three crazy, kooky ball crashers in SKINY’s Autumn/
Winter campaign want to make that clear. They themselves
and the ball guests they are later able to shake up and
persuade, are a colorful bunch, each a different size and
shape, just like the real world. And just like the collection
itself.
E T E R N I T Y
For those that love long and are young forever – they will wear soft rose tones paired
with a bold turquoise, often combined in large flower prints and paisleys.
Stylewise it could be a powder colored body or an adobe rose satin set
in form of a cheeky brasiliano with subtle ruffles on the side.
