Our Adult IV Sunday School class is hosting a “movie night” for our

church & community. We’ll enjoy the documentary - Monumental. It

is the story of America’s beginnings and is the true story of Kirk

Cameron’s adventure across Europe and the U.S. as he seeks to

discover America’s true “national treasure” – the people, places, and

principles that made America the freest, most prosperous and

generous nation the world has ever known.

Long regarded as “the land of opportunity”, there’s no question the

tiny band of religious outcasts who founded this country hit upon a

formula for success that went way beyond what they could have

imagined. How else can you explain the fact that they established a

nation that has become the best example of civil, economic and

religious liberty the world has ever known? What formula did they

discover? What motivated them to come here in the first place?

More importantly, how can we apply these same foundational truths today? Help us spread the word!!

Saturday, Oct 31st Bring your car, truck, motorcycle, golf cart or scooter and

decorate its trunk or tailgate or simply decorate yourself!

Bring a lawn chair for yourself and maybe a lantern. We’re

collecting bags of candy to give away as treats for the kids.

Look for the box in the Narthex. Mark your calendars and

let’s make an eternal impact upon our community for Christ.

Invite your friends and family to an incredible night of fellowship as we reach

out into our community and create a ‘safe alternative’ for our kids to enjoy!

to “hang out” with our children, youth and their families.

through December. If you don’t find a time that works for your

family, please let him know, so ya’ll can work out a time suitable

for everyone’s schedule!!

A great opportunity has been placed in our lap to GO minister to and teach children at a local elementary school about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Justin is looking for a team to help him

start a Good News Club at one the elementary schools in Yadkin County. This is a great ministry and many students are coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Please pray “the Lord

of the harvest to send out workers into His field” and pray you might be one of the workers!!

THANK YOU for accepting the challenge issued by our youth to “Stock the Shelves” at Yadkin Christian Ministries. Your willingness to ’do something’ will show those less fortunate within our community - there are folks who do care & desire to share Christ’s love...ultimately fulfilling the words of Christ in Matthew 25 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me!”

2016 Ministry Budget The Finance Committee will be finalizing our 2016 Ministry Budget soon and copies will be available by Sunday - October 25th for you to review. It will be presented & discussed at our

October Church Conference - Wednesday - October 28th at 6:30 pm. We will have a special called conference on Sunday - November 1st - immediately following our

morning service to adopt the proposed budget. If you have questions, please see HL or Waddell.
