1. The Viet Cong is hard to find. They don’t wear uniforms, and could be anybody, even little kids

2. The US can’t invade NV….(violation

of RULE 1)….but, we CAN bomb them from the air.

3. The war has no glorious victories, like NORMANDY, MIDWAY or the BULGE.

The war goes on and on and on, without a clear cut end and people in the US get “upset” at the cost and lives.

By 1968 the American people have had enough and want out of Vietnam.

We tell the SV that we leaving and it is their turn to fight the Communists….
