Remove the 2 Silencer-To-Frame Mounting Bolts and the Silencer. (See Figure 2) 3. Save the bolts, you will re-use them in the installation. 1. Save the bolts, you will re-use them in the installation. 1. Install the Short S-Bend Connector Pipe onto the Head Pipe. The smaller end fits onto the head, the bigger bulged end will fit into the Exhaust. 2. Slide the T-Bolt Clamps onto the Short S-bend Connector Pipe. (See Figures 3 & 4) Do not Tighten 3. Slip the Silencer section onto the Short S-Bend Connector Pipe and mount it to the Stock Silencer Mount Location using the Stock Bolts. (See Figure 5) Tighten in this order: 1. Silencer-To-Frame Mount Bolts. 2. Silencer-To-Short Connector S-Bend T-Bolt Clamp. 3. Short S-Bend Connector-To-Head Pipe T-Bolt Clamp. Make Sure that the Silencer-Outlet-Tip Allen screws are tight. 1. Make sure the Header Pipes are assembled like they are in Figure 6. 2. Making sure the Cylinder-to-Header Gaskets are in the exhaust ports, slide the HMF Header into the ports and snug the Stock Nuts. Do not tighten. 3. Install the 2 springs onto the Spring Tabs. (See figure 7) 4. Slide the T-Bolt Clamp onto the inlet of the Silencer S-Bend (not the way it is facing in the picture) and slide the assembly onto the Head Pipe then mount the Silencer to the Stock Location using the Stock Mounting Bolts. Do not tighten. Tighten in this order: 1. Silencer-To-Frame Mount Bolts. 2. Silencer-To-Short Connector S-Bend T-Bolt Clamp. 3. Short S-Bend Connector-To-Head Pipe T-Bolt Clamp. Make Sure that the Silencer-Outlet-Tip Allen screws are tight.     1. Install the Short S-Bend Connector Pipe onto the Head Pipe.

    The smaller end fits onto the head, the bigger bulged end will fit into the Exhaust.

    Do not Tighten

    3. Slip the Silencer section onto the Short S-Bend Connector Pipe and mount it to the

    Stock Silencer Mount Location using the Stock Bolts. (See Figure 5)

    Tighten in this order:

    1. Silencer-To-Frame Mount Bolts.

    2. Silencer-To-Short Connector S-Bend T-Bolt Clamp.

    3. Short S-Bend Connector-To-Head Pipe T-Bolt Clamp.

    Make Sure that the Silencer-Outlet-Tip Allen screws are tight.

    1. Make sure the Header Pipes are assembled like they are in Figure 6.

    Yamaha Raptor 700Optimizer Instructions

    1. Remove the seat.

    2. Remove the bolts holding the Plastic Front Radiator cover on. (See Fig 1)

    3. Remove the cover and the bolt shown in (Fig 2)

    4. Unplug the connector shown in (Fig 3)

    5. Remove the Fuel Cap and Plastic Fuel Tank Cover. (See Fig 4)

    6. Temporarily replace the fuel cap to contain fumes.

    7. Remove the Rear Main Plastic Mounting Hardware and remove the Main Plastic

    Cover. (See Fig 5)

    8. Remove the fuel tank mounting bolts. (See Fig 6)

    9. Have a helper hold the fuel tank up and out of the way. (Removal of the tank not

    necessary.)

    10. Route the Optimizer harness connectors between the battery and the aluminum

    frame member. (See Fig 7)

    11. Unplug the connector at the fuel injector. (See Fig 8)

    12. Plug the grey connector of the Optimizer harness into the fuel injector. (See Fig 9)

    13. Plug the Black connector of the Optimizer harness into the original harness

    connector you unplugged from the injector. (See Fig 9)

    14. Run the Optimizer harness under the battery mount and air box mounts to keep

    the harness from being damaged. Use the supplied zip ties to secure the Optimizer

    harness away from any hot and/or moving parts. (See Fig 10)

    15. Use the supplied Velcro to mount the Optimizer in the tool box area. Cut a small notch

    in the tool box plastic to keep the harness from being pinched by the seat.

    16. Reinstall all hardware and plastic body work.
