REPORT ON 10th BIORESONANCE 2020-21

Bioresonance is a state level intercollegiate state level activity organized by the

department of Biotechnology for the students for encouraging the research aptitude in

the students. In this activity a guest lecture by a renounced personality is organized

for the students followed by a paper presentation, poster and model presentation

competition for the students.

The activity of Bioresonance was started in 2011, after that every year the number

of participants went on increasing. This increasing participation of the students

itself tell us about the success of the event.

The unique feature of this activity is to encourage the graduate students for oral,

poster, model presentation of their research work. This time we have incorporated

Biotoon drawing, a cartoon presentation on the theme of awareness of Covid 19 for

the social cause. These activities will help the students to develop communication

and presentation skills at graduate level and encourages the students to do research.

This online activity organized with the following objectives:

a) To provide a platform to graduate students to present their research

work.

b) To review the status of knowledge and practices being adopted at

regional levels.

c) To identify long term challenges future themes in the various fields.

d) Knowledge transfer and creating the awareness about Bio-

technological options to overcome challages.

e) To harness and promote interaction between all students from the

different colleges in area of Shivaji University.

This year A Guest lecture by Dr. Tushar Lodha, Scientist B, NCCS, Pune, was

organized on topic “Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in India: Surveillance and

awareness”. Hon. Prin. Dr. B.T. Jadhav, Dr. Jay Chavan, Coordinator, Dept. of

Biotechnology and Dr. Sanjay Bhongale Dept. of Physics, Y.C.I.S., Satara were

present for this event. Hon. Dr. Prin. Dr. B.T. Jadhav Principal, Y.C.I.S., Satara

was the president for this event. All faculty members of Dept. of Biotechnology

and students from different colleges were actively participated to this program

through online mode.

10th Bioresonance activity carried out in Dept, of Biotechnology YCIS, Satara on

30th May 2021, (online mode)
