Model Presentation Competition

Model Presentation Competition

Objectives:-

1)Students should get aware of originality and creativity, organization of content.

2)Students should get knowledge of material, clarity of art work and overall presentation.

3)Students should able to answer questions about the content and appearance of the model.

Students from Yashoda Technical Campus Satara participated in state level Model presentation

competition held at Krishna Foundation's Jaywantrao Institute of Pharmacy, Wathar on the date

20/12/2019. Twenty eight models from different colleges were participated in the competition. All student

presentations are part of the competition. The committee uses evaluation forms developed with criteria

that best reviews originality, creativity, knowledge, and overall image of the student's presentation, Our

S.Y.D. Pharm students Ms. Saniya Attar & Ms. Purva Jadhav bagged the third prize in a competition with

trophy, participation certicate and Rs. 1000/- cash prize.

President D. B. Sagare, Vice president A.D. Sagare & Principal Dr. V.K. Redasani congratulated to winner

students for this achievement. HOD Thorat A.T. & all the staff members guided to the students.

Outcomes:-

1) Students are able to explain the things properly.

2) Students learn to work in co-ordination & in team spirit.

3) Students learn to answer correctly & spontaneously.

PATIENT COUNSELING COMPETITION

A team of Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of D. Pharmacy, has participated in State level

Patient Counseling competition with 07 students from Second Year Diploma in Pharmacy at Adarsh thInstitute of Pharmacy, Vita held on 7 December, 2019. The group performed powerful plays with a social

message which has the potential to awake the audience to existing social issues regarding proper Patient

counseling. For this performance, the students got Runner Up Prize. President Dasharath Sagare Sir,

Vice president Ajinkya Sagare Sir congratulated students for their performance. Principal Dr. V.K.

Redasani and Head of Diploma in Pharmacy, Mr. A.T. Thorat appreciated the efforts taken by students

and staff for this activity. All staff members were directed to all participants throughout the entire activities.

STATE LEVEL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENTStudents from Yashoda Technical Campus,

Faculty of Pharmacy (D. Pharm) Satara,

participated in State Level Volleyball Tournament.

SKS Pharma Sports in Association with IPA

organized sports at L. A. D. C. M. Institute of th th

Pharmacy, Masur on 15 and 16 December,

2019. Various institute of pharmacy from Satara,

Kolhapur, Sindhudurge, Sholapur and Sangli

participated in this tournament. Near about 65

team were took part in this competition. The

student won the Runner up trophy in Boys

Volleyball tournament, under the guidance of

HOD, Mr. A. T. Thorat, Physical director Mr. Jadhav

A Guest Lecture on “Positive Attitude: Recipe for Success”

Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of Pharmacy, (D. Pharm), Satara has organized Guest Lecture on th

“POSITIVE ATTITUDE: RECIPE FOR SUCCESS” on 27 Nov. 2019. Guest Speaker for the program was

Dr. R. J. Dias, Head, Department of Pharmacy, Govt. Polytechnic Jalgaon. All the students of D. Pharm

and MBA were attended the lecture. The lecture was highly valuable and knowledgeable. Dr. R. J. Dias

told about importance of Positive Attitude in life. He also explained how positive attitude helps in

academics and is benetted for achieving the goal. Founder President, Prof. Dasharath Sagare Sir and

Vice – President Prof. Ajinkya Sagare inspires to conduct such activities. Principal Dr. V. K. Redasani

encourages for conducting such activities. Mr. A T Thorat has made all necessary arrangements for this

lecture. Ms. P. P. Mane coordinated the event.

One Day State Level Seminar on “Good Pharmacy Practices”

Yashoda technical campus faculty of D. Pharmacy 4 staff and around 64

students attend one day state level seminar on “Good Pharmacy Practices” at Krishna nd

College of Pharmacy, Karad on 22 November 2019. In this seminar rst lecture by

Dr. A. P. Pawar sir (Prof. Vice Principal HOD, Bharti vidyapeeth university Puna

college of Pharmacy, Pune) on topic Pharmacy Practices new diamension in health

care. The second guest lecture by Dr. Nitin Deo ( Community Pharmacist and

director, Deo Sales Pvt, Ltd.) on business tacticesin retail Pharmacy. And the third

lecture by Mr. Joshi R. B. ( Retd. Assistant commissioner, In FDA Maharashtra) on

topic ethical services in pharmacy practices. All the sessions were more

knowledgeable and valuable. Student got fruitful information which will be more

benecial to them in their future. Founder President, Prof. Dasharath Sagare Sir and

Vice – President Prof. Ajinkya Sagare inspires to participate such activities. Principal

Dr. V. K. Redasani sir and Mr. A T Thorat encourages for attainding such activities.

Yoga Activity

Enhance in concentration through Yoga

Yoga is daily conducted in MCA department. Its main goals are to maintain Physical health, mental

health, Social health, Spiritual health, Self- realization of Stakeholder.

A] ANULOM VILOM:Anulom Vilom Pranayama (अनलोम�ाणायाम) is one of several Pranayama or breathing exercise used in ुthe practice of Hatha yoga.

Anulom is opposite to Viloma. It is very helpful in respiratory-related diseases like Asthma. Anulom Vilom

Pranayama is the best way of balancing the tri doses in our body. Our body gets ill when Tri doses are not

in balancing position. Vat, Pitta, Kaffa knows as tri doses, Tri means “three” and the meaning of doses is

impurities. All these are present in the body of every people.

We perform this activity because it helps to regulate ow of vital energy throughout the body; it links

between the physical body and soul, healing physical and mental disorders.B] MEDITATION:

Aim of activity is overall transformation and grooming of personality by bringing about positive

attitudinal and behavioral changes. It helps to maintain harmony between sympathetic and

parasympathetic nervous system. If we practice, gradually our distracting thoughts will subside and we

will experience a sense of inner peace and relaxation. Our mind will feel lucid and spacious and we will

feel refreshed. When the sea is rough, sediment is churned up and the water becomes murky, but when

the wind dies down the mud gradually settles and the water becomes clear. In the same way, when the

incessant ow of our distracting thoughts is pacied through concentrating on the breath, our mind

becomes unusually lucid and clear. We should sit with this state of mental calm for a while.

C] CLAPPING:

Aim of this activity is release stress, bringing positive energy in our mind.

Following positive effects observe in stakeholder:

1. Reducing stress 2. It improves concentration 3. It encourage healthy life style 4. The practice increases happiness

5. The practice benets cardiovascular and immune health.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT - 2019-20

MCA department of YSPM organized industrial visit on date 28th Dec 2019 in Vascorp

Softwares, Satara. Vascorp Softwares company manufacturer of software products development,

Guest Lecture

GPAT Exam- Pharmacognosy Aspect

was delivered by Dr. Ennus T. Tamboli, Asso. Professor, ADCP Ashta, having Doctorate in Pharmacy with 10

years of Teaching experience. Welcome speech & introduction of guest is given by Prof. Sachin H. Rohane,

Assistant professor and GPAT cell Incharge.

Dr. Ennus T. Tamboli is gracious speaker and has command over Pharmacognosy, in introductory part he has

elucidate importance of GPAT. He has elaborated different aspects of Pharmacognosy such Traditional,

Microscopical and characteristic features of individual crude drug with proper justication. Total 30 students

from Final year B.Pharm were attended the program. Students were acknowledge the lecture a perfect feed for

their utility and expect more on same kind. Many of students involved in interactive session which satised

their quarries. On behalf of Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of Pharmacy, The activity is coordinated by Mr. Sachin H. Rohane, Asst. Professor under the valuable and precious guidance of B.Pharm HOD Mr. A.M. Bhagwat and Principal Dr. V. K. Redasani.

Pool Campus Placement Drive

Training and Placement Department taken initiative for inviting prestigious company Philips India Ltd, for Pool Campus Placement Drive at Yashoda Technical Campus - Satara for fresher - 2020 passout diploma Electronics and Electrical students dated on 18th December - 2019, Philips India Limited is a subsidiary of Royal Philips of the Netherlands, a leading health technology company focused on improving people’s health and enabling better outcomes across the health continuum from healthy living and prevention, to diagnosis, treatment and home care. Philips leverages advanced technology and deep clinical and consumer insights to deliver integrated solutions. The company is a leader in diagnostic imaging, image-guided therapy, patient monitoring and health informatics, as well as in consumer health and home care. Training and Placement Department has invited Ms. Namrata Aind (HR - Philips) along with her team for Pool Campus Placement Drive at Yashoda Technical Campus – Satara. During the drive more than 175 students from 18 colleges gone through company presentation and selection process, 19 students from various colleges got selected for this campus placement drive who will join the company in the month of June - 2020 Company Guests are very much happy with Infrastructure Facility and overall organization of the event.

Training Program

Youth Leadership Training Program-YLTP from Art of Living

Training and Placement Department taken initiative to organize YLTP workshop in collaboration with Art of Living organization for our college students at Yashoda Technical Campus - Satara dated on 21st December to 28th December - 2019, The Art of Living has made Youth Leadership Training Program (YLTP) its vehicle for this transformation, resulting in efcient and effective delivery of its projects. Motivated youth are selected from the local communities and trained appropriately. The YLTP focusses on personal development and communication skills. Through stress - reducing breathing techniques, individuals nd inner peace and communities to come together in a spirit of service. Participants are inspired to volunteer for rural projects. The fruits of the seeds sown in these sessions are experienced by the community as a whole. Training and Placement Department invited Mr. Abhay Chavan along with his team for conducting YLTP at Yashoda Technical Campus – Satara. During the workshop, 33 students from various departments gone through workshop, Mr. Dasharath Sagare (President - YSPM) guided to the students during the feedback session on the last day of the workshop, Art of Living Guest are very much happy with Infrastructure Facility and overall organizational support from Yashoda Technical Campus - Satara.
