The end of year 10 is almost over! It is one that you will always remember for many reasons.
You have had a lot to get used to, including a new form tutor ☺We know it has been a tough overall, but you have all adapted so well and shown great problem‐solving, whether a rota for the laptop or how to
manage workload!
“When you’re feeling your worst, that’s when you get to know yourself the best.”
We are proud of you all!Mrs Shamsad and Mr Sliti
Form Tutor Award
10U• Maryam ‐ For excelling in her commitment to her work during such a difficult time and has adapted so well to working from home.
• Fathima ‐ Has had a tough year away from school but has shown great resilience and persevered through it and has managed to show a marked improvement in her work.
10EWell‐done for another fantastic year, you have grown so much (in terms of being less miserable in form) from Year 9 to Year 10. You have taken on all the challenges of year 10 and become independent learners. During form activities such as PSHEE you have demonstrated key communication and curiosity skills where you have actively engaged in the content and participated in class‐room discussions. Despite our face‐to‐face contact being cut short we can see you have persevered and adapted to home‐learning during lockdown. We appreciate and have enjoyed reading many of your form‐time activities. A special shout out to Maisha, Alia, Neha, and Nurrani for your thoughtful work.
Form Tutor Award10ENurrani For showing excellent communication and problem solving skills in her work as both an International Links steward and a Diversity Ambassador. Also for being a valuable member of our form and having excellent punctuality and attendance.
Aisha For showing creativity and curiosity in from time discussions and great communication skills when supporting her peers with homework. Also for being a polite and dedicated student with excellent punctuality and attendance.
10Q class of 2020!You communicate so well with each other –we are proud that
everyone in 10Q feels confident to speak their mind and voice their
feelings, often AT LOUD VOLUME (!)
*I even include when, without fail, every Central Decides survey ends with ‘WE WANT
MORE TRIPS!’
You have all shown adaptability in the face of setbacks this year: not least the current pandemic. You take
care of each other and show compassion for the difficulties others
face.
We miss you and are proud of each and every one of you, for everything that makes you unique! Take care over the Summer – see you in Y11!Ms Conway and Ms Ito ☺
You show great curiosity and passion
about the world around you, whether it’s about
school, or your thoughts on politics, including women’s
rights, local community issues and the environment.
Memories from this year:‐ Secret santa and dancing to Baby
Shark with Liam‐ Jannat’s range of ‘breakfast’
items‐ Mama’s Uno matches‐ Taslima’s acting skills when
pretending to read on Mondays ;)
‐ Nuha’s unoffocial adoption of FCY’s desk nightingale

To my lovely Product Design class 10BPD1,
What a year we’ve had together! I know it was short considering the circumstances but I just want to say a huge thank you for being such a lovely bunch! You worked so hard on your charm bracelets and cutlery for the visually impaired. Your chatter in class always made me smile (even if it wasn’t always work related). Thank you for the determination, respect and laughs that you have given me this year!
Well done for starting off GCSE Product Design in such a positive way, I’m so proud of every single one of you and look forward to having my favourite class (sshhh, don’t tell the others) back in September. Another huge well done to those of you who have been consistent with your Home Learning, I have seen some excellent work ‐ keep it coming! Have a wonderful summer girls, you deserve it. I will still be keeping in touch via SMHW though, just to check in!
Keep working hard and stay safe,Ms Smith
You probably won’t believe me but I definitely enjoyed teaching you. A few of you were a bit of a handful but the main qualities each and every one of you carry are respect and manners. Some of you improved this over the year. You have made me
laugh with some of your strange jokes and comments. But you have worked hard and have shown excellence in
various topics.
I wish you all the best for year11.
Work harder and believe in yourself. You all have so much potential!
