• 3 papers (1 non-calculator, 2 calculator papers) all 1 hours 30 minutes.

• No early entry

• Required to remember more formulae.

• More emphasis on problem solving.

• OCR will be releasing an end of year 10 exam paper

(summer 2018)

• Whilst we will be doing continual assessments on a

module by module basis, the end of year exam will

reflect student progression into year 11.

• This will help us make an informed decision about

whether triple can run from Sept 2018.

• There will need to be a between 30 to 35 students who

show academic capability to take this pathway.

• Importance: Homework allows you to develop independent study skills, improves your memory and thinking skills. Reinforces learning and allows you to apply your learning to a new situation.

• Use of Show My Homework – Parents can also access + SMH app – notifications when homework is set and due

• Students who consistently do not complete homework:

1. Detentions with subject teacher (1st time)2. Tutor conversation (2 or more)3. Letters home – more than 3 occasions4. Parent, HOY + aHOY, student meetings if no improvement

• Every Friday during tutor time in ICT rooms

• Every day before and after school homework club in LRC - computers available
