Year 10 Weekly Newsletter: 8 July 2020 Trivia- Would You Rather? Be completely bald or hairy from head to toe? Live a single life that lasts 100 years or 10 lives 100 years each? If you are still yet to complete your Option Days have a look at Newsletter 10 to check out the information for arriving on Option Days. What is happening in the final week of term? For many of you, you will continue to work from home for the final week of term. Be sure to continue checking your ClassCharts and join any of the team sessions. Some students will be invited for meetings with HoY like it was in the first week of the re-opening phase. What about September? There has been lots of information in the press and released guidance from the government. We are currently planning your full return and be sure to continue to follow the Parentmail sent by Mrs Haig/ Mr Jouny. Have further questions? Mr Warren and Mrs Graff will be holding a final Teams talk with your Management Team next week (Form Reps will be emailed shortly). Please pass on any questions to your Form Reps or Tutor who will be able to voice any of your questions. What is happening in the final week of term?

For many of you, you will continue to work from home for

the final week of term. Be sure to continue checking your

amazing work of scientists and engineers in a pandemic. The

1-day event celebrates their achievements, hears about

challenges, innovation and collaboration, and explores some

upsides to lockdown.

Chemistry-Mrs Eastwood Emily Way, Flora McKendrick and Chi-Chi Onuoha for both commitment to remote learning and communication. Ella-Mae Leach, Campbell McDiarmid, Scarlett Wilson, all for a great score in a recent Ecology piece.

English Mrs Hearle Flora Mckendrick, Darby Gough, Camille Duff, Teigan Jones, Jen Sawitzki, Nancy Hitchcock, James Elderfield, Max Brown, Sam Turberville, Will Toner, Zara Foster, Jess Gibbon, Zach Anderson and Vonnny Dragnevska for maintaining energy, effort and excellence in English. Miss Ellis Kacey Hembrough has stood out for completing her English work to an exceptionally high standard and been really reliable over this home learning period.
