Ocean Literacy Survey in English version was translated in various
ASIAN native dialects. The Philippines thru the Maritime Academy of
Asia and the Pacific ( ERO staff and 2 Filipino instructors – had helped
translate the English version into Tagalog version
* As member of the International Committee of NMEA, came up with the
NMEA Business Proposal for the Call for International Youth Conference
on Ocean Plastic Pollution & Micro plastics
* The same proposal was also presented on August 10. If approved and
funded by NMEA, the activity shall coincide with the Asia Marine
Educators Association (AMEA) conference with the participation of the
youth, which will take place on August 23-27, 2019, hosted by the Ocean
University of China, Qingdao, China.
* Gather lots of materials and website links for free educational resources
on ocean literacy which MAAP President had officially share with
MAAP partner agencies like DEPED and MARINA particularly on K to
12 curriculum to incorporate Ocean literacy so that teachers and students
