o Rtn. Rtn. Prem Singh: Happy as his spouse Ann Dina Singh’sbirthday; and he secured third position at Dhana LaxmiMemorial Squash Tournament recently.

o Rtn. Sworupa Shrestha: Her nephew received visa for USA forhigher study.

o Rtn. Prafulla Man Pradhan: He is happy as DG Sanjay Giriprovides him opportunity to share his Rotary experience duringDG’s Club visits.

· AOB:o Contribution for flood victims in Terai: DG Sanjay Giri have

circulated a request for club contributions for flood victims.District Sectretary Rtn. Prafulla Pradhan clarified that allcontributions from the district will be channeled through regionalclubs in the affected areas. As suggested, RC Yala shouldtarget of Rs. 100,000 as its contribution. The raised money frommembers should be deposited into district funds asap. (action:Treasurer Rtn. Dhurba M Pradhan)

o IPP Rtn. Deepak K Shrestha informed the meeting that final A/Cfor Rotary year 2016 -17 is audited and renewal at Tax office aswell as at CDO will be completed by next week.

Rtn. Kiran Shrestha, as the coordinator of the Standup AgainstBreast Cancer, should be included in the program of NCHRCvisit by DG.

o Rtn. Kiran Shrestha suggested that the club present a letter ofappreciation to Fukuwoka Club (ICS Japanese) during their visitto the club on 25 August.

o PE Rtn. Surendra G Shrestha informed that Rtn. Pramod SPradhan and he will keep the ICS Japanese Rotarians at theirhomes during their visit.

o District Secretary Rtn. Prafulla Pradhan requested AnnPresident Meena Shrestha and Rotaract President Anjuli Mumlito prepare activity report for July 1 to 3rd week of August to giveto DG during his visit to the club on 25 August.

Heart Care Centre held a women’s cancer camp at Manidol,Lalitpur; 61 women received VIA tests and breast checkup.

o On 11 August 2017, the Ann group in association with RC Kavreand Rotaract organized a health camp at Banepa (Kavre) withthe support of Nepal Cancer Care Foundation. 99 women hadVIA test and breast checkup.

o -Ann Badri Joshi informed that on Sunday 18 Augus, the elderlypeople at Sunakothi Day Care Centre with financial supportfrom her sister. Rotarians and Anns are invited.

o Reporting by Rotaract: Successfully completed the 1st ClubAssembly at Café d’ Patan on Sat 12 Aug. Rtn. PrafullaPradhan facilitated the assembly.

o Observed 1 minute silence to pray for peace of departed soul ofPast District Secretary Rtn. Nanda Ram Vaidya.

He is an established industrialist and abusinessman. He has served and serving invarious key positions in business organizationsincluding FNCCI. He is also a well knowBusiness Investor, accordingly served and servingin various positions of business houses

His career in Rotary started as charter member ofRotary club of Birgunj chartered on 1987. Heserved in various capacities in the club andserved as president of his club two terms in theRotary Year 1994 -95 and 2008-2009. In districthe served in various capacities such as AssistantGovernor, Chair of Membership committee, CoChair of District Training committee, Membersof various District Committees, and member ofTraining Faculty of the District TrainingCommittee.
