Gotowala carved out space off the home and outfitted it with a full suite of open-air amenities. e main focus is the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a built-in DCS by Fisher & Paykel grill, a Summit refrigerator, a Tuscan pizza oven, a sink with Moen faucet, Danver cabinetry, trash pullout, and stone countertops. This sizzling setup makes both cooking family meals and entertaining guests a snap by put- ting everything they need for prep and cooking at their fingertips—no more running back and forth into the house. e pizza oven is included in the outdoor stone fireplace that was cus- tom designed by Preferred Properties. When not making pizzas, this fireplace provides warmth—and not to mention a great ambiance—during the chilly evenings much of the year. Other fun features include a raised courtyard off the existing deck, a pool, a gazebo, and a Sundance Spa hot tub that is built into a stone wall and is surrounded with limestone ledges for dining and conversation. A wall of fire at the hot tub ups its wow factor even more. Extensive use of stone complements the surrounding landscaping, and Gotowala finished the outdoor area with lighting by Preferred Properties, making it ready for day, night, and year-round recreation.
