    Who are we and why are we here?

    WHO ARE WE? The New York Metro Chapters Young Planners Group Outreach

    Committee is committed to introducing youth from diversebackgrounds to the field of urban planning.

    WHAT IS OUR MISSION? The mission of YPG Outreach is to foster greater diversity in urban

    planning professions and promote social justice. We encourageyouth to use leadership skills within their communities.

    TheEast River Esplanade

    The esplanade needs repairsfrom 60th Street to 125thStreet and will be rebuilt inthe future.

    All classes are held on Saturday afternoons,from 2-5pm at Hunter College.

    A complete program schedule and enrollment package will be provided

    the week before enrollment.

    Applications are due NOVEMBER 7th! Completed application form (online or hard copy)

    Written short essays

    To apply, please give the completed application

    form to your referral teacher or advisor. Your teacher

    will send the form back to Youth in Planning for review.
