Baxter M. Hood Center is located on the campus of York Technical College, just off Interstate 77. The 40,000 s.f. facility offers an ideal setting and can accommodate a wide variety of activities, from small workshops or training sessions to full-scale meetings, conferences and trade shows. It is the largest conference facility in York County.

The Hood Center’s design places a premium on flexibility, efficiency and convenience. The Center’s main banquet area seats 600 comfortably or over 1,000 for lectures or seminars with 10 dedicated breakout rooms.

Baxter’s most important resource, however, is its fully-trained, experienced, on-site staff ready to assist you in planning every detail of your event, including facilities, audio-visual equipment, catering, and hotel reservations.

The facility has 400 parking spaces conveniently located adjacent to the building. The Hood Center also offers state-of-the-art teleconferencing facilities, television production, graphic animation and remote control camera technology.

Whether you are hosting a conference for two thousand guests, a seminar for a dozen, a wedding, ministry meeting, or a benefit luncheon, Heritage Conference Center has numerous venues and offers various services to assist you in hosting a successful event.

Heritage’s facilities feature more than 350 guest rooms, 20,000 square feet of conference space and an additional 30,000 square feet of meeting space. The center consists of a 10,140 s.f. ballroom with 8 breakout rooms, a 10,140 square-foot sanctuary that can host up to 800 guests on the main floor, with additional overflow space to accommodate hundreds more. Guests can gather in a VIP Lounge for meetings and private dining for up to 50 plus enjoy a café for meetings and large banqueting events.

Guest rooms provide the comfort of a retreat-style accommodation, while providing the essential amenities of a hotel. In addition to king and double rooms, Heritage also has suites and apartments that provide additional amenities such as a kitchenette, balcony and lounge area.

McBryde Hall, built in the eclectic style of medieval halls and named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, is on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Its spacious Tudor design accentuates the high hammer-beamed ceilings supported by an elaborate timber system.

The main hall, the Vera Gruber Batten Dining Room, is used for social and conference functions for up to 600 guests. The adjoining Tuttle Dining Room, which seats up to 125 guests, is used for smaller events.

McBryde Hall is the perfect location for weddings, dinners, holiday parties and receptions.

Macfeat HouseMacfeat House offers several options for meeting and dining. A small conference room for 10, a dining room for 24 and a large conference room for 24. A comfortable and professional space to spend the day for training, retreats or special events.
