Make a Drum!
Here’s How: - Decorate a margarine, yogurt, or other
plastic container with construction paper,
crayons, and pictures.
- Cut a piece of paper that’s just a bit bigger
than the container’s lid.
- Put the piece of waxed paper between the
lid and the container and tape them
together. This gives your drum a better
sound.
- Hit your drum with chopsticks, spoons, or
your hands. Or make your own drumsticks:
Take two pencils and place a spool of thread
at the ends of the pencils. You can use glue
to secure tightly.
TAP your drum!

Make a Guitar!
Here’s How: - Decorate an empty shoe box with cover.
- Cut a hole out in the middle of the cover.
- Stretch rubber bands over the shoebox and
line them up in the middle of the hole. Tape
the rubber bands to the ends of the box so
they don’t move.
- Make sure the rubber bands are tight but
not too tight they will break!
- Attach a paper towel roll, ruler, or a stick
to the end of the box to act as the arm of the
guitar.
