We know just how important it is to invest in young people today, which is why Young Enterprise School work closely with teachers,

schools, awarding bodies and local businesses to ensure that we provide a specialised range of programmes and products focused on enterprise and innovation.

We offer programmes that can be incorporated into the national curriculum and that are based upon EDUCATE, our own unique framework developed specifically to focus on students development.

Students and teachers are able to experience workshops which focus on providing “real life” skills including public speaking and basic finance, as well as business start up advice. We also work alongside Head Teachers providing advice and help to enable their lecturers and teachers to incorporate enterprise into the classroom. We know from experience that every student is different but that the foundations for life will always be the same.

Programmes and Qualifications

We offer a range of programmes specialising in enterprise and innovation that have been tried and tested by education specialists and our own

panel of business experts. We are strong believers in being able to “walk the talk” and know from experience that in order to create valuable programmes we have to use a combination of business expertise, curriculum basics, theory and practical elements, all of which result in being able to provide students with the most relevant real life skills and a solid understanding of enterprise.

As well as our enterprise programmes we provide a number of workshops which we can make bespoke for your school or college, we have found that by working closely with your teachers we can create a day that is both memorable and beneficial for both students and teachers. These have previously included:

We are passionate about our work with students and from this are proud to have created The Young Enterprise School Mentor Qualification in partnership with SFEDI. This is available to all sixth forms and colleges and can be offered as a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification on the QCF Framework. It provides a combination of modules which incorporate lessons in enterprise with training on becoming a mentor, the result will be that your students will be able to provide help and guidance to the younger year groups within the school and college on enterprise and innovation.

After School Club Programme

Our after school club has been designed to run over a term at any UK primary school using our tried and tested “Make It Happen” programme.

We understand that teachers are stretched and that additional clubs can be a drain on resources, this is why we provide all the equipment, training manuals and workbooks for every pupil and can even arrange additional help for each school.

The programme incorporates the core curriculum with a blend of fun and imaginative resources, providing pupils with lessons in pocket money maths, basic video production, mind mapping, art and design and presentation.

We are currently in the process of licensing the programme in order to make it even more accessible to young children and are looking at training our new enterprise leaders in order that they can role this out in the next few months.

Young Funder

Young Funder is the UK’s first crowdfunding venture which is only for children and young adults supported by Young Enterprise School , it is

available from ages 7-21 and can be accessed by schools, colleges, clubs and community groups.

In partnership with StartSomeGood we have created a venture which will allow all your students to create their own ideas, run their own projects and even pitch their first business whilst having the additional support of our mentors and education specialists. We have compiled a great range of resources which will provide guidance and training on elements such as social media, podcasting, marketing and finance.

Young Funder MagazineThe Young Funder magazine supports our funding venture, your students will be able to access guest articles from a range of business experts and entrepreneurs, whilst being able to view other projects and ventures happening across the UK. We always support up and coming young businesses and students will be able to follow our chosen Young Panel through their first years in business, following the highs and the lows.We invite writers and experts from around the world to help contribute to the magazine but most of all we invite your students to become involved, this is a place for them, a community in which they can learn, share and thrive.
