PART I: COVERING LETTER
“What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the
world remains and is immortal.”
Greetings,We at YIMF would like to take 5 minutes of your time to introduce our NGO, the
"Young Ignited Minds Foundation".
Background
Young Ignited Minds Foundation is a student run non-profit organization whose primary aim
is to help the poor children in acquiring education and helping them become self-sufficient to
support themselves and their families. Young Ignited Minds Foundation is a registered non-
government entity operating on the NGO scale level. We are an operational NGO, striving to
plan and carry out boots-on-the- ground projects to accomplish our objectives. This requires a
great deal of careful planning, communication, and local involvement for each project.
All across our nation, there are various non-governmental organizations that strive to step away
from the conventional, refuse to remain complacent with the ignorance of a majority of the
nation towards their rights, and, venture to change the same. Young Ignited Minds Foundation
(YIMF), is no exception to this. Founded in 2015 by a law student, Eshaan Bansal in the memory
of his grandfather.
The organization has endeavored to approach social issues like poverty, education, women
empowerment, ac- cess to courts of law, etc, in a subtle yet effective fashion.
Our aim at YIMF is to reach the disadvantaged directly, who represents the suppression still
prevalent in India even after seventy-one years of independent history. Through a multifarious
approach in spheres such as Environment and Sanitation, Women Empowerment, Child Welfare,
Education and Legal Aid, we aspire to touch a substantial portion of social issues persisting in
India. Comprising of young college students, YIMF, by undertaking awareness and restoration
drives in schools and organizing donation events, has managed to leave a mark in the lives of

those benefitted by it. Our aim is to expand our reach and continue to fulfill the vision on the
basis of which YIMF was founded and achieve this by taking one step at a time towards a
brighter future.
Vision
Our vision has been planned while keeping in mind all the latest developments and changes
which India needs to achieve in the social sphere. The vision for the country is to make it legally
empowered in order to combat all evils which haunts our nation even after 71 years of
independence. There must be equitable justice for each of our citizen, irrespective of their
position in the social strata. We plan to see an independent India, where its citizens get the basic
amenities of life, their requirements are fed and their needs are catered to.
YIMF works for the social upliftment of deprived classes with the vision, for them to stand on
their own in the upcoming years of achievement. Education would be reached out to more than
95% of the total population, which in turn should help them meet better hygiene and living
conditions. People must be properly educated at the present time, about the maintenance of
health, conservation of energy, prevention of economic degradation, etc. with the aim that future
generation does not suffer due to our negligence. Eradication of poverty and promotion of
sustainable development must be at its best to help various transitions in the country for the sake
of development of the economy as a whole.
Though YIMF is a recent contributor in the development of the integrity of our nation, its
members are working actively to make the aforementioned vision a reality. YIMF promotes the
pro-development activities and conducts sessions and seminars regarding the same, with the aim
of educating people about the vision we need to achieve in the contemporary times. With the
mutual cooperation of the members and volunteers, the dream to establish India as a major
power- free from the elements of social degradation, holds true.

PART III: CSR PROJECT DETAILS
Ø WALL OF HOPE
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself I the service of others.”
-As quoted by Mahatma Gandhi,
Our first step towards the society began with the event “Wall of Hope”, where we made a
contribution to social welfare at Patiala which was the biggest giveaway in the city. Distributing
Clothes to those in need brought smile to our face as well as to those of the poor people to whom
we distributed the clothes. It felt like, we were able to make a small yet vital impact on their
lives. Through our event “Wall of Hope” we could help many underprivileged people leave with
a smile on their face was the best part of the event. We tried our best to giveaway the most by
distributing clothes, blankets, footwear, soft drinks, eatables to people present there, especially
children. The smile they had on their face was priceless.
Following the pathway given by the Patiala event, similar events were organized by the Mumbai
and Delhi branch in the month of May and June, 2018, which ended up being a huge success.
Ø PAATHSHALA
Paathshala is a Restoration Drive for government schools. We have conducted 2 such
Paathshala’s, in Lachkani School, Patiala and in SGVM English School, Mumbai, where we
distributed the basic stationary to the students, cleaned the school, get the whitewash done.
Educating children is an important part of the society that really ensures about a healthy future of
our nation. No country can hope to progress or become civilized unless its young have access to
education and a life which promises full exploration of their potential.
Our event “Paatshala” provides the platform to students to take participation in the painting
competition, sports events. Sports activities promote physical mental well-being and helps in
reducing stress. Students have shown enthusiasm in participating in the event in sports activities

like: Musical Chair, Football, Sack Race etc.
Ø SAARTHI
This event marked our venture into the field of social welfare and emancipation of children in
particular. Conducted in local government schools, ‘Saarthi’ is an awareness drive for middle
schoolers about the signs, dangers and redressal mechanisms related to sexual abuse. Children
are provided comprehensive talks, material and made to participate in discussions revolving
around concepts like ‘good touch bad touch’ and child care helplines established to safeguard
their interests in times of need.
A special session on menstrual hygiene and awareness is also held for and by female students.
This event is a step towards YIMF playing its part as a conscientious contributor to the holistic
welfare of the society; beginning from the very grassroots.
“We do hope that this information will help you gain a clear idea of
what we offer. We believe that our organization is a worthy cause that
will do a great deal of good for many people. We're eager to partner
with you to make this noble cause lead to substantial benefits in the
short, medium and long term.”
