The Hong Kong-America Center (HKAC) invites applications for this unique program, designed to empower young leaders working for women’s education and equali ty. Ten promising young leaders from Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta will undergo a four month leadership development program from May to September 2013 which will include training workshops, exposure to business and civic leaders, and financial support and guidance for projects to enhance women’s education and equality. The program also seeks to strengthen the network of young leaders who are championing gender equality in the Pearl River Delta region and Hong Kong. Trainings and support provided are designed to increase leadership skills and assist in the development and implementation of the participants’ projects. Applicants will be selected on the merits of their project proposal by a selection committee comprising HKAC representatives and other subject matter experts.
