Important Reminders• Property taxes are payable November 1 – March 31.• Discount/payment deadlines falling on weekends or a holiday are extended to the next business day. Payment must be received in our office by 5:00 p.m.• Ad valorem taxes are based on property’s appraised value less any exemptions.• Municipalities and special taxing districts set non-ad valorem assessment amounts.• If the property has been sold, please forward the property tax bill to the new owner or mark the bill “SOLD” and return it to our office.
