ORDERING INFORMATIONWhen placing an order for the first time, you may be required to fill out an order form. The information we obtain from the order form gives us the information we need to set up an account for you. Future orders can be placed by phone or email.

The movie listed on your invoice is licensed for the date and location shown and is protected by the Federal Copyright Act. Movies cannot be loaned, rented, edited or copied.

Customers must notify Criterion Pictures of cancellation in writing at least 10 business days prior to the requested show date or the full rental and handling charges will apply. Once a movie has shipped, or the movie has been invoiced, it cannot be cancelled without obligation.

When charging admission, you must pay the quoted rental licensing fee or 50% of your ticket sales which-ever is greater of the two.

PAYMENTPayment is due in advance of the first screen date or 30 days from the date of the invoice. Criterion Pictures USA accepts purchase orders, checks, money orders and all major credit cards. Please mail payment to: Criterion Pictures USA, P.O. Box 894272, Los Angeles, CA 90189-4272. Late payment may result in the delay of future orders. SHIPPING & RETURNThe care, maintenance, and security of handling and use of movies rented from Criterion Pictures are the customer’s responsibility while they are in your possession and until they are returned to our office in Lombard, Illinois.Shipping is to be paid by the applicant and is in addition to the quoted rental rate. Shipping is $20 for round trip, ground shipping (return label included) when we have a minimum of 10 business days to ship. Expedited shipping is available and a quote will be provided at the time the order is placed.

Movies must be returned to Criterion Pictures on the first business day following your screening. Failure to return a movie may result in a hold being placed on future orders. If movie is lost, stolen or damaged or otherwise not returned for any reason, the customer is liable for full replacement costs and lost license fees. Movies are considered lost if not delivered to Criterion Pictures 25 days after playdate. The customer shall make reasonable efforts to recover any lost or stolen movie. The customer shall immediately notify Criterion Pictures of loss or theft. Failure to do so makes you liable for full replacement costs and lost rentals.

UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCESIf you are unable to have your screening for any reason including inclement weather, Criterion Pictures will allow you up to one year to show the same title again at no additional licensing fee. Shipping and han-dling fees will apply. The original invoice is due and you must show the same title. ADVERTISINGThere can be no public advertising. All advertising must be done privately either through websites, social media, private email and mailing lists.
