The Richmond Registrar is available to conduct civil ceremonies seven days a week, including Bank Holidays.

FREµUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN CAN WE SET UP FOR OUR SPECIAL DAY? Set up starts from 9am on the day of your wedding, but access to the venue the night before can also be arranged on request and confirmed one week before your wedding day.

WHAT TIME WILL OUR WEDDING FINISH? When the clock strikes midnight, it’s time to turn the music off. However, if you’d like to extend the party until 1am we can help you arrange a late music and bar licence for an additional fee.

DO YOU HAVE OUTSIDE SPACE WHERE CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS? Richmond Hill Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Richmond’s most photographic sites. Take your pick of scenic views from Richmond Terrace overlooking Petersham Meadows or a couples

only photoshoot along the River Thames. Within the hotel itself, wedding parties can capture the day against a picture perfect backdrop of the venue’s newly refurbished event spaces, outdoor terrace and restaurant, 144 On The Hill.

CAN WE HAVE LIVE MUSIC OR A BAND?We think live music is a great way of bringing wedding guests together on the dancefloor and have a list of local artists we can recommend for your reception, from jazz quartets to contemporary DJs.

SHOULD WE TAKE OUT WEDDING INSURANCE?Yes, we recommend our couples take out wedding insurance to give you peace of mind that everything is covered for your big day from unlikely cancellations to any damage caused to the venue.

WHERE CAN WE PARK?We have a number of parking spaces available on a first come, first served basis at a reduced charge of £5 per car for 24 hour’s parking for your guests. Most of our wedding packages include one free parking space.

DOES THE VENUE ALLOW CONFETTI? Of course, we fully encourage wedding parties to throw environmentally friendly and biodegradable confetti outside the hotel.
