Florida Atlantic University’s art collec-tion just gained a little more luster.
Well, $3.8 million worth of luster, to be precise.
A gift from Rick and Lesley Stone includes 17 paintings, with works by Henri Matisse, Edward Willis Redfield, David Park and John Henry Twachtman.
Those will make up the Rick and Les-ley Stone Art Collection, which will be
housed in the Ritter Art Gallery on FAU’s Boca Raton campus.

The Arc to open holiday pop-up gift wrap suite at Gardens MallOn Tuesday, Nov. 26,
The Arc of Palm Beach County will cut the rib-bon to open The Holiday Gift Wrap Suite at The Gardens Mall.
The annual holiday pop-up promotes inde-pendence and inclusion for The Arc’s clients as they practice greeting customers and wrapping gifts. The Arc will unveil a life-size mosaic surfboard created by clients in the Artisan Program. Visitors can buy other items made
by the artisans. Each pur-chase helps to provide an income for the artist.
The ribbon cutting is at 10 a.m. Nov. 26 on the upper level near Nord-strom.
While the elves at The Holiday Gift Wrap Suite perfect your presents, you can relax, charge your cellphone, and take part in crafts with arti-sans from The Arc. The Holiday Gift Wrap Suite will be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Nov. 29-Dec. 24. ■
