INDIA FUND CAMPAIGN RAISING FUNDS FOR PREACHER TRAINING RESIDENCE The elders have challenged us to raise the remaining funds needed to construct a new residence for the preachers in our India work. We need to raise about $210,000 on top of what has already been pledged. In addition to our normal contribution, the elders are asking each member to turn in a pledge card before the end of the year. Broadway Family, My family and I would like to say a huge thank you; from the prayers to the thoughtful cards and care packages, it has all been so heartfelt and meaningful, and we are truly grateful for the support through this incredibly difficult season of our lives. I am happy to report that my last chemo treatment was January 10th, and that my oncologist expects that there is no change from my most recent pet scan, which revealed remission of the lymphoma. DID YOU KNOW…Broadway’s Prison Ministry partners with the 9th St., Calvert City, Central, and Sharpe congregations. As a result of the work being done by individuals going into the jails and Bible correspondence courses being sent via the postal service, 2018 saw 79 baptisms at McCracken County Jail. If you are interested in being involved in the Bible Correspondence Course Ministry, see Joel Foster. If you are interested in completing the training required to go into the jails, see Joy Cook or Garry Hoyt. You can also contact the church office with any questions.

BOOK DRIVEThe McCracken County Jail has asked us to help restock their library. Only paperbacks are allowed. They are looking for wholesome books, fiction, non-fiction, all kinds. This would be a great opportunity for us to supply them with some Bible study aids or devotional books. If you have gently used titles you are willing to part with we have a collection box in the lobby.
