Credit Union management is stable and local. I deal with people I’ve known for many years.If there’s a problem with one of the Credit Union accounts (and I’ve never had a problem caused by the Credit Union) someone who knows you can solve it. Credit Union accounts have modern electronic conveniences, but if you work at the Justice Complex, nothing is more convenient than the Credit Union office in that building.You can save at the Credit Union, of course, but I think the Credit Union is at its best in a financial emergency or crisis. If you need a loan, the Credit Union is fast and effective.Finally, there’s an ethical dimension to Credit Union membership.
