Hi everyone,
I want to first congratulate all of you on the incredible first five months of 2013. You are all building an incredible momentum of our three core strategies, Daily Consumption, DS Recruiting, and Systematised Training to deliver good nutrition to more and more people every month.
As I visit many markets in Asia, I am so proud to be associated with all of you and the good you do for so many people in need of better health and a financial opportunity. This June is a very exciting month. We have our CEO and Chairman Michael O. Johnson attending all three of our Extravaganzas beginning with Korea, then Thailand and finally in India. Many of you will be there to see him share his vision of the future of Herbalife and our region, the number 1 region in the world. You will also get a chance to hear from incredible guest speakers and more important be inspired by the many successful Asia Pacific leaders beginning with our Founder’s Circle and Chairman’s Club members, but also the incredible up and coming President's Team and TAB Team leaders, many who you will see on stage. What is critical now in Asia Pacific is our leadership from all over Asia are sharing best practices. That means if someone is successful in Indonesia and are successful they are more than happy to share their success with Korea, or vice versa. This positive attitude of unity has helped all of our Distributors in Asia look to a bright and exciting future. As we focus on this success, many of you are also helping your communities with health seminars, charities, and other wonderful activities that serve as an outreach for giving the gift of good nutrition but also giving back to your communities. This has helped so many people understand the positive force of our Herbalife Distributors and I encourage all of you to continue with your generosity and compassion. “Guide to a Healthy Heart” by Dr Louis IgnarroDr Louis Ignarro captivated and mesmerised the crowd of more than 2,000 people who came to listen to his talk on a “Guide to a Healthy Heart” held on 4 May 2013 at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The ‘Healthy Heart Gift Set’ promotion which was made available exclusively during the event became a hot seller with the participants. Later, Dr Ignarro also made a special appearance at a Mega HOM event.

Before Herbalife, my weight was 80.5 kg. I was a heavy smoker and had a big tummy. After one week of consuming Herbalife products, I lost 2-3 kg. With my exercise routine of 2-3 times a week , I managed to lose 10 kg with a body fat loss of 29.7%. My ‘Before’ and ‘After’ photos inspired my customers to lose weight, too. The WLC has now become part of the activities in my Nutrition Club.

Proteins are made up of building blocks called amino acids. Many of these amino acids are essential, meaning the body cannot produce them, and thus they must be obtained through food intake. When a protein contains all the essential amino acids, it is considered a complete protein. Soy protein and all animal sources of protein are considered complete.
If one or more of the essential amino acids is missing, the protein is considered incomplete. With the exception of soy protein, vegetable sources of protein are considered incomplete. However, two incomplete plant proteins, such as rice and beans, can be complementary, if consumed together.
Most protein in our diet comes from both animal (meats, fish, poultry, eggs and milk) products, as well as plants (beans, lentils and peas). Protein powders, made from soy, whey or egg whites, can also be added to other foods to boost their protein content.
Our bodies require protein to build and repair muscle tissue (especially after exercise), produce important enzymes and hormones, support our immune system, and keep our energy and stamina levels high.
Daily protein requirements depend on your age, size, fitness level and lifestyle. In general, large (200lb), physically active males should consume between100 g to 200 g per day, while small (100lb), physically active females should have between 50 g to 100 g per day.
Protein is one of the major macronutrients in our food. It provides energy to the body and is used to build muscles and organs.

Your expertise on the range of products and knowledge about nutrition, healthy active lifestyle, personalization, and motivation sets Herbalife apart from the rest.
With excellent customer service, customers are satisfied and consequently, they become our brand ambassadors and through word-of-mouth they are able to bring in referrals to your business. More often than not, satisfied customers get excited about helping others with their wellness goals and they get attracted to becoming a Herbalife Distributor.

Event Highlights
Sudirman Cup 2013A Roadshow was held in conjunction with Sudirman Cup, a World Team Badminton Championship which is the only World Badminton Federation (BWF) event for men and women competing in national teams. The championship was held from 19-26 May 2013 in Kuala Lumpur.
SHAPE Yoga In The Park About 100 distributors and members of the public were sweating it out during the SHAPE Yoga In The Park event on Sunday, 19 May 2013 from 6.30 a.m.-11 a.m. at Panggung Anniversari, Taman Tasik Perdana, Kuala Lumpur.
Participants were served N-R-G Tea and more than 300 cups of Herbalife Shake F1 formula (Vanilla Flavour) were distributed. In addition, 100 sets of Herbalife merchandise consisting of Facial Set and Skin Activator Hand Towels were given free to the participants. Participants were later seen gathering at the booth to enquire more about the Herbalife Formula 1 shakes.
