Sage and our Implementation Partners have been appointment across categories by National Treasury to the panel of service providers for an integrated financial management and internal control system for local government (RT25-2016: 1 August 2016 – 31 May 2019).

This appointment bears testimony to our continuous product development in support of the public sector. In doing so we aim to deliver enabling systems to empower local government to comply with statutory demands, whilst continuing to deliver excellent

services to their respective communities. The Municipal Regulations on a Standard Chart of Accounts (mSCOA) can best

be described as a National Treasury reform to establish standardised accounting classification at both transactional and reporting level for municipalities. To this extent

our investment in mSCOA will ensure that municipalities will be geared towards mSCOA compliance ahead of the final deadline for implementation (01 July 2017).
