YOUR PERFECT TENNIS PROGRAMSpain is renowned globally for its fierce tennis competition and incredibly successful system of player development over recent years. Valencia, Spain and surrounding areas are the home of many of these famous champions who have grown in this beautiful country and been fortunate to have the perfect environment where all key factors come together to create the ‘playground of the toughest’.

Many of the world’s most successful Tennis Academies are based in this wonderful part of Spain also known as Costa Blanca. Due to the perfect training climate and numerous red Clay courts lining the coast, Spain is famous for dominating world tennis currently and for producing numerous results and players, the likes of “El Toro" Rafael Nadal, Fernando Verdasco, Tommy Robredo, David Ferrer and of course 2003 French Open Champion the classy ‘Flea’ Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Based at Juan Carlos Ferrero Equelite Sport Academy, home of top Spanish National Players and also current touring professional’s ; ‘Your Spanish Tennis Experience’ 2010 is a perfect combination of Tournaments, Spanish Training Systems, and fitness with specialist coaches whom are also former Professionals.

Our Players will experience intensive on court programs as well as daily competitive match play & fitness. They will learn the Spanish Clay Court secrets and different Hard Court tactical concepts whilst gaining valuable experience of how to play European style in the harsh Spanish Tennis environment. The Equelite Academy uses coaches that are all highly qualified with experience in developing young players from all over the world.

Biomechanical Assessment using our Unique SMAP Software - SWING & MOVEMENT ANALYSIS PROGRAM

The SMAP assessment provides players, coaches and parents with improved perspectives of the player’s deficiencies. The SMAP analysis allows coaches to integrate educated technical changes encompassing sound biomechanical principals into all technical adjustments.

1. Using digital video camera images are recorded on court.

2. Those images are captured for analysis on the SMAP.

3. The SMAP software al lows frame by frame playback which is then assessed for biomechanical deficiencies.

4. Video files on CD or USB with feedback imbedded; as well as sequential print out of the player’s movements, highlighting potential deficiencies and areas of improvement.

‘Your Spanish Tennis Experience’ 2010 is a Player only camp and includes:1. Minimum 5.5 hours per day on court training plus.

2. Fitness Conditioning & Physical cross training activities.

3. Off court Mental skills & Conditioning.

4. Professional Hitting Program.

5. SMAP Biomechanical Assessment on site.

6. Numerous competitive opportunities are also included on a daily basis with Spanish & International Players.

7. Additional Night Matches & Competitions.

8. Players will be entered into local and National tournaments and will be accompanied and supervised by coaches whilst competing.

Please note; Players NOT in competition will remain at Equelite Tennis Academy training whilst those in tournaments will go to the events accompanied by coaches and team. These players will compete, be warmed up, supervised and provided with pre and post match feedback as well as on court training at the tournament site. Once players are complete in the tournaments they will then go back to full training program at home base.
