Use Cases
These are some of the examples of the success cases in the application of Smart Industry at MÖLLE
7
“The retrofitting project at MÖLLE is a particularly good example of digitisation in medium-sized companies. Many small and medium-sized companies are facing the same challenge and are asking themselves how they can digitisetheir existing systems. The experience of MÖLLE is just as helpful to other SMEs in realisingtheir Digitisation ideas.”
Max Birtel, Project Coordinator at SmartFactory & Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Center Kaiserslautern
“Industry 4.0 contributes to the ability to compete and the profitability of our own company. Only if we keep up with these challenging times and stay at the cutting edge of technology, we will be prepared for the changes in the market.”
Klaus Eckert, CEO Mölle GmbH
“The great added value for us is that by retrofitting we can continue to use the old machine virtually unchanged. We can now draw digital data from the previously analogue machine, which is used for process optimisation.”
Volker Westermayer, Project Leader of this Digitisation Project at Mölle GmbH
