Relationships

Your Style eZinewww.ezineslimited.com

ou don’t have to be an expert at relationships to know a guy who is not in it for the long haul. While some are pretty good at hiding their ‘player’ ways, others

are as transparent as Baccarat crystal stemware. They might not walk up to you with tacky pick-up lines like, “Heaven must be missing an angel because you are here” or “Baby, your feet must be tired because you’ve been running through my mind all day”, but there are many signs women can use to identify a player. I’m the first to admit that I’m no expert myself, but I have seen my males friends and cousins in action, which has helped me to eas-ily identify some of these sleazebag traits and know that I must look the other way.

Women need to understand that for some men, it’s an ego-boosting game, so they try to learn the female behaviours and trick us into believing that they are irresistible. Here are five warning signs that your man might be playing you for a fool:

you are yet to meet his Parents, reLatives or friendsYes, you want to take it slow before showing off your significant other to your folks, but if after six months he’s still giving you the runaround, you should probably already figure out where this relationship is heading.

you onLy see him on friday nightsYou hook up on the weekends, grab some food and drinks, then head back to your place – you’ve never even seen where he lives. He never takes you to a public place – no dinners, no movies and not a word until the week runs by. I’m sure you see where this is going.

Phone CaLLs after a Certain hour are off Limits It’s the middle of the night and you’re feeling down and could re-ally talk to someone, but the one person you think you can call on never answers your calls after seven and is always too busy to talk. Don’t be surprised if he’s laid up with some other woman and can’t attend to your needs. Hit the road before you get in too deep because he’s certainly looking on to the next one.

Limited house visitsI’m not sure I really need to explain this one because you don’t need anyone to tell you there’s something in the water if you’re never allowed to visit him at home, drop off lunch at the office or even to call his home phone.

finding random femaLe artiCLes So you’ve come across stilettos in his car on two separate occa-sions and his excuse is that they belong to his sister - whom you’ve never met, remember? But guess what? They were both different sizes! Maybe you should take a hint, put on your walking shoes and speed away in the opposite direction.

hoes can be fancy without being stilettos. Shoes like sandals can also be dressy and are ultimately more comfortable to wear. So, forget about boring flip-flops! Summer is the time to dress up your feet and show off those beautiful digits!
