what’s next?We value your thoughts reaching us by close of business on 14 June 2014.

Your feedback and ideas help us as we prepare the Masterplan.

Following review of your feedback, a masterplan will be developed to guide improvements to the park. We will seek your feedback on the masterplan prior to it being given Council approval.

If you have any questions, please call us on 9298 8000 and ask for Sulochi Walisinghe from Knox Openspace and Landscape Design team.

Work is underway to prepare a Masterplan for Llewellyn Park, Wantirna South but we need your thoughts to help finalise the opportunities for the future design of this Park.

Bordered by Blind Creek and EastLink to the west, and residential properties to the north, south and east, the park is comprised of a large bushland area, two ovals, a pavilion, a centrally located carpark, and three points of access.

This Community Bulletin is to let you know that we’re looking at ways that we can improve the park, and to invite you to share your thoughts with Council on the development of the Llewellyn Park Masterplan.

A community consultation session will be held on Saturday 31 May in Llewellyn Park. Please drop in and have a chat with us any time between 10am and 12noon. We look forward to your involvement and interest.

What else is happening at Llewellyn Park?

In other news relating to Llewellyn Park, Council is continuing to monitor the reserve and adjoining streets to check remnant gas levels from the former landfill site.

Why does Council test the area?

As we explained in our last information bulletin to residents closest to Llewellyn Park, the testing we do is part of a program of site management across Llewellyn Park. Council is committed to fulfilling its obligations to manage the site, being a former landfill that finished operation nearly 30 years ago.
