VERSE FOR THE MONTH
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been
revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed,
we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2
Thanks to everyone at St Andrews First Presbyterian Church, Symonds Street for
hosting our July regional youth service. It was especially great to see the St
Andrews, Symonds Street and St Paul’s, Manurewa youth sing.
Thanks to Rev. Johannes for sharing a message on the theme ‘Goodness’ and
for everyone who helped out during the service. We look forward to the next
youth service taking place at St Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Manurewa!

Thanks to Malcolm Gordon who led the Music and Worship
Workshop on Saturday 30th July at St Martin’s Presbyterian Church,
Papatoetoe. Take a look at some of the photos below!
Connect Camp 2016!
Connect Camp took place on Friday July 15th – 17th at El Rancho in Waikanae.
This was a fantastic weekend away which allowed youth leaders from around
the country to learn, grow and upskill in their ministries and personal faith. We
look forward to holding this camp at El Rancho again next year!
Game On! Will be a fun afternoon of games, activities, competitions and prizes for youth
aged year 7 - 10. This will be the first one of its kind so you don't want to miss out!
There will be a number of different leaders from around the region leading these games
which will take place at St Cuthbert's College Sport Centre on Saturday 3rd September.
(This is not to be confused with our Re-play Sports Day’s. We will be offering a sports
day next year).
All you need to do is have each participant fill out the online registration form before
Friday August 26th. There will be a number of prizes including best dressed youth group
so make sure you come along in your best team outfits!
Each month we send out a newsletter similar to this,
highlighting the exciting events and news that have
taken place during the month.
If you have any news, photos or info that you would like
to include for next month please send this to Emma
Payne at: [email protected]
Furthermore, if you have any comments or suggestions
