With the psaltery and harp, O PRAISE HIM!
With the dance and the timbrel PRAISE HIM!
O praise ye the Lord.
With stringed instruments let us, PRAISE HIM!
And with organs, O let us PRAISE HIM!
With the high and loud cymbals PRAISE HIM!
Let everything that hath breath,
Let everything that hath breath,

5. Shady Green Pastures – The Grace Thrillers
[Verse 1]
In shady, green pastures, so rich and so sweet,
God leads His dear children along;
Where the cool water's flow, bathes the weary one's feet,
God leads His dear children along.
[Chorus]
Some through the waters, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.
[Verse 2]
Sometimes on the mount where the sun shines so bright,
God leads His dear children along;
And sometimes in the valley, in darkest of night,
God leads His dear children along.
[Chorus]
6. Trust in You – Anthony Brown & Group Therapy
You did not create me to worry
You did not create me to fear
But You created me to worship daily
So Ima leave it all right here
My hands are raised because I surrender
Your will is what's best for me
I worship You because You're Jehovah Jireh
I bow before the King of Kings
No more crying no more complaining
I believe Your word is true
Lord You promised never to leave me lonely
So this is what I'm going to do
I will trust in You Lord
I will trust in You Lord
I will put my trust in You

4. Hymn 683 – I just want to follow Jesus
[Verse 1]
You may be young and think the world is at your feet
Perhaps you live from day to day;
But I confess that I have met Lord Jesus Christ
And know that He’s the only way.
[Chorus]
I just want to follow Jesus,
Follow each and every day
And I want to praise and serve him
As I walk the narrow way
Where he leads me I will follow,
From the start until the end:
I will stay with him forever,
He’s my nearest, dearest friend.
[Verse 2]
I’m growing older, wiser, seeing things more clear
And value this great friend I’ve made
That’s why I try to show him off to my friends
And tell them of the rice he’s paid.
[Verse 3]
Life has more meaning now that I’ve known Jesus Christ,
I’ve got the strength to cope with all
His spirit is my guide, whenever I am afraid,
And I will always heed his call.
[Verse 4]
I consecrate my life to serving Jesus Christ,
I’ve made this pledge, to God indeed.
I put my trust in him and seek to do his will
He satisfies my every need.
[Verse 5]
If you have not as yet given your life to him,
I beg of you, do not delay;
I call on to put your faith in Jesus Christ
And join with these words to say
12
5. Only You - Christopher Gayle & Jermaine Edwards
[Verse 1]
So when I look at everything
You’ve done
You were always by my side
You are God before and after time
So I’ll depend on you to guide
[Chorus]
God (a) only You (You, uh, uh, uh)
God (a) only You
Carried me through all the things, that I’ve been through
God (a) only You (You, uh, uh, uh)
God (a) only You
Part the Waters and, turn grey Skies into blue
God I honour You, Whoo, oh, oh
All praise belong to You, Whoo, oh, oh
Lord I honour You , Whoo, oh, oh
All praise belong to You
[Verse 2]
Promise You my God
That I’ll walk by faith
And not gonna walk by sight
Though it’s hard to believe
When the road gets rough
And I’m standing in the fire
When my hope is gone
And there seems to be no way
You came down, You bless me
Yo-ou helped me
You always made away
[Repeat Chorus]
6. In Jesus name – Israel Houghton
[Verse 1]
God is fighting for us
God is on our side
He has overcome
Yes He has overcome

[Verse 2]
Carrying our burdens
Covering our shame
He has overcome
Yes He has overcome
We will not be shaken
We will not be moved
Jesus You are here
[Chorus]
I will live, I will not die
The resurrection power of Christ
Alive in me and I am free
In Jesus' name
I will live, I will not die
I will declare and lift You high
Christ revealed and I am healed
In Jesus' name
[Bridge]
God is fighting for us
Pushing back the darkness
Lighting up the kingdom
That cannot be shaken
In the name of Jesus
Enemy's defeated
And we will shout it out
Shout it out!

***JUNIOR FEMALE SOLO SPEECH***
1. Life’s Daily Doses – Lenora
McWhorter
Life is measured in daily doses
Of trials and pleasures each.
Day by day grace is dispensed
To meet our immediate needs.
Comfort comes to the weary
We find that which we seek.
A bridge is built at the river
And power is given to the weak.
One day's load we have to bear
As we travel on life's way.
Wisdom is given for the occasion
And strength to equal each day.
We are never required to stagger
Under tomorrow's heavy load.
We journey one day at a time
As we travel life's rugged road.
God's mercy is new every morning
And His faithfulness is sure.
God perfects all that concerns us
And by our faith, we will endure.
2. Along my Journey – Deborah
Ann Belka
Lord, along my journey,
to get closer to You
there were lots of obstacles
I had to maneuver through.
You took me down the road,
of sorrow and of grief
so I would learn and turn
to You for peace and relief.
You put me in the path,
of heartache and loss
so I would know the pain
of carrying my own cross.
You brought me to places,
I did not want to go
so that Your mercy
I’d truly come to know.
Lord, along my journey,
of hope and salvation
You always had for me
heaven as my destination
3. I Will Not Give Up – Joye
Atkinson
Sometimes it’s all I can do to take
another step
Then God reminds me gently of
the promises He’s kept
At times I want to say I quit;
I’ve had all I can take
It’s hard to take my words to heart
I feel like such a fake
I’ve tried so hard to be a light so
that the Lord above
Could use me as a vessel to
emanate His love
Giving up is not an option
I’ve trusted God too long
Even though my path is rough;
He keeps me safe and strong
I know God is on my side; the
victory has been won
By the power of the blood of Jesus
Christ His son
Lord, don’t let me lose my faith
Help me to live each day
Contented in your love and peace as
you gently lead the way.

***JUNIOR MALE SOLO SPEECH***
1. Broken Pieces – Lenora
McWhorter
If you are broken by life trials and weary
from life's defeats.
If you have been badly battered and have
no joy or peace.
Give God your broken pieces,
So He will mold them back in place.
He can make them better than before
with a touch of His sweet grace.
If your dreams have been shattered
after much struggle and pain.
Even if your life seems hopeless,
God can restore you again.
God can take broken pieces
and He can make them whole.
It matters not how badly broken
God has the power to restore.
So we are never without hope
no matter the shape we are in.
God can take our fragmented lives
and put them together again.
So if you're broken beyond measure
and you don't know what to do.
God specializes in broken things
so His glory can shine through.
2. Step by step – Don
Sicklesteel
He does not lead me year by year,
Nor even day by day.
But step by step my path unfolds,
As my Lord directs my way.
Tomorrow’s plans I do not know,
I only know the minute,
But He will say, “This is the way,
Just have faith, as you walk in it.”
And I’m glad that it is so,
For today’s enough to bear,
And I know when tomorrow
comes,
His grace shall far exceed His
care.
Why should I worry then, or fret,
For the God who gave His only
Son,
Holds all my moments in His
hand,
And gives them to me, one by one.
3. Boulders In My Way –
Lucy A. Cain
There are boulders in my way
And at times the journey’s rough,
But my Lord gives me added strength
When I feel I’ve had enough.
He gives me solid footing
When the rocks get in my way,
One by one I overcome
Till I see the light of day.
Unexpected boulders come
And troubles we’ll have in life,
But take heart He’s overcome them all
To free us from pain and strife.
One by one He’ll clear the way
And ahead of us He goes,
Preparing the journey as He sees
In all the wisdom He knows.

***SENIOR FEMALE SOLO SPEECH***
1. Faith – M. S. Lowndes
Increase our faith so we may see
What you’re doing in our lives
And all that we’ll accomplish in You
So our faith begins to rise
We need to be reminded, Lord,
Of the small mustard seed
And how the same amount of faith
Moves mountains if we believe
As we walk in pure obedience
With confidence in you,
Our faith begins to grow and flourish,
Bearing more abundant fruit
We must go beyond the limits
Of our comfort zones,
Our faith is activated at those times
When we walk into the unknown
For it’s when the safety net is gone,
We realize we need our Lord,
When there’s nothing left to fall back on,
We must lean on God much more
And faith is released in our hearts
As we bend our knee to pray;
We shall be strengthened as we walk
And commit to Him each day.
2. The Road to Victory –
Deborah Ann Belka
This road’s going to be hard,
I know it will be tough
I know the battle ahead
will be stormy and rough.
But, this I know and believe,
the fight is not mine solely
for Jesus will be with me
through this journey entirely.
This road is going to be long,
I know it will be grueling
I know the struggle will be
uphill and exhausting.
But, this I know and believe
God’s Word will keep me going
and through the challenges
the way He will be showing.
This road’s going to be hard,
don’t know how long on it I’ll spend
but, I know and believe…
victory will be mine in the end.
3. A Worthy Vessel – Belinda
van Rensburg Since time immemorial the waves
have roared
Lashing and forming the sandy
shores,
Then still, the storm, then high,
then low;
Breaking where seawater ebb and
flow.
In perfect rhythm the tides come
in –
High and low and neap and spring,
Ceaselessly moving to shape the
land;
Breaking the shells into soft, white
sand.
So too with us, with you and with
me;
Throughout our lives we
unceasingly see
God’s Hand within our calm and
our storm,
Shaping us from the day we are
born.
When things get tough we should
not despair:
The Lord is in our trials and in our
prayers,
16
We need only to look upon Jesus’
face
To know He is our safe hiding
place.
God cares so much for each one
for us
So do not panic and do not fuss –
Allow God to break, to heal and
remake
You for the part He wants you to
take.
A vessel so fine it is fit for the
King
Wondrously beautiful; sealed with
His ring –
Blood-bought and pure; the
Potter’s pride
Dressed in white linen; the High
King’s bride.

1. Do you Trust Me? - M.S. Lowndes
Do you trust me
When things aren’t going right,
When life deals some painful blows,
When finances are awfully tight?
Do you trust me
When tragedy comes your way,
When you don’t get all the answers,
When you bend your knee to pray?
Do you trust me
When friends don’t understand,
When there’s no one you can talk to,
No one to hold your hand?
Do you trust me
When there’s warring in your soul,
When there’s darkness all around you
And you’re left out in the cold?
Do you trust me
When evil is against you,
When there’s nowhere left to run,
And you can’t find the truth?
Do you trust me?
I need to ask you this,
‘Cause you don’t always know,
I’m there in the midst
Of all your tribulations,
Everything that you go through,
I am always there my child,
And I will never leave you
So I must ask of you
To see if you believe,
No matter what you face in life,
You must always trust in me.

2. The Road of Faith: M.S. Lowndes
Shine your light, O Lord,
So that I may see,
Just where I am heading
And what’s in front of me
Your word is the light,
The lamp unto my feet
It may not light far ahead
Nor show me where it’s steep
But it gives enough light
For each step I take,
Just enough to see ahead
Along this road of faith
For this is what I surely is
As we walk with Jesus Christ,
The road that we are travelling on
Is by faith, not by sight
So shine your light, O Lord
So we may see your way,
Though you only show in part
It’s enough for each new day.
3. On the Potter’s Wheel: Deborah Ann Belka
If we’re to be transformed,
on the Potter’s wheel
then as the clay…
we must be still.
The process is not fast,
a lot of time it will take
so the Potter’s image
into us He can make.
The clay needs to be soft,
it must be willingly pliable
so from its worthless state
He can make it justifiable.
Once on the Potter’s wheel,
the clay will wobble to and fro
but, He controls the speed
til His mercy begins to flow.
The Potter molds His vessel,
and foresees the finished work
if there’s any cracks or flaws…
the clay He is able to rework.
If we’re willing to be formed,
into something beautiful…
on the Potter’s wheel
we must remain flexible!

*** SPEECH CHOIR***
Isaiah 35: 1-10
1 The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will
rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,
2 it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel
and Sharon; they will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our
God.
3 Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
4 say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your
God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine
retribution he will come to save you.”
5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf
unstopped.
6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout
for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
7 The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground
bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and
reeds and papyrus will grow.
8 And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of
Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not
journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.
9 No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be
found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
10 and those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion
with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and
joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Luke 1:46-55
46 Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord
47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48 for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From
now on all generations will call me blessed,
49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me holy is his
name.
50 His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to
generation.
51 He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered
those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
52 He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up
the humble.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich
away empty.
54 He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful
55 to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised
our ancestors.”

Psalm 116: 1-14
1 I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for
mercy.
2 Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I
live.
3 The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came
over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow.
4 Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Lord, save me!”
5 The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of
compassion.
6 The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved
me.
7 Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.
8 For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from
tears, my feet from stumbling,
9 that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
10 I trusted in the Lord when I said, “I am greatly afflicted”;
11 in my alarm I said, “Everyone is a liar.”
12 What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the
Lord.
14 I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his
people.
Romans 8:28-39
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those
who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to
the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many
brothers and sisters.
30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he
also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is
for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—
how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has
chosen? It is God who justifies.
34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who
died more than that, who was raised to life is at the right hand of
God and is also interceding for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or
hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or
sword?
36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through
him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels
nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will
be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus
our Lord.
