Internet traffic from social network media are sharply increase, this included video streaming.
Video streaming such as YouTube and Netflix has consume 40 % of internet traffic at 2010.
More than 13 MILLION HOURS, 2010
More than 35 HOURS, every minute.
More video is uploaded to YouTube in 60 days than the 3 major US networks created in 60 years.
YouTube reached over 700 billion playbacks in 2010.
YouTube mobile gets over 100 million views a day.

Research Question: What are the improvement done by Google on YouTube delivery basis after the take over?
Purpose: To compare and contrast the efficiency of video delivery basis and network infrastructure of YouTube before and after Google take over.

SUMMARY
There’s a lot of client server video streaming application on the internet, but YouTube still emerge on the top, this is because YouTube provide ability to customize, unlimited channel subscription and various video quality.
YouTube has gone a lot of improvement after google took over whether in network infrastructure, traffic rate, content management and usability.
Quality of services (QoS) issue are emphasized issue in YouTube. It can be proven by the way YouTube divided the QoS issue into four level that is, context level, user level, system level and content level. This is to ensure the user satisfied with the services provided and having a great experiences while browsing or streaming video on YouTube.
