• YouTube is a Free world wide video sharing website that is widely used for advertising, and other non and for profit companies and persons.• Anyone can share and view videos freely on this site be they

educational, well produced or completely or partially fictitious.• The YouTube portal is very straight forward to use and with a little

tutorial, anyone can post videos or comment on videos they have watched.

• There are videos for any content area and grade level• For example: This video is of science experiments that have

applications of Chemistry that students from Elementary through High School will enjoy• There are also Read Alongs for those using a stories with images• There are History related videos• There are even videos for other subjects like Art, Music, and PE• There are even motivational videos

Set up a Google Account

• If you want to Upload/Post video to YouTube or comment on videos you watch, you need a Google Account• To Learn how to set one up, Click HERE• Already have a Google Account, Click HERE

Sign in to YouTube with your Google Account

How To Set up a YouTube-Google Account• Go to www.youtube.com• Click on the Sign In button shown here in the upper Right corner of

the screen:

email.• Create a password• Click the Button to send a verification email to your chosen account.

So you want to Post Video to YouTube• BEWARE! Once you post anything to the internet, it can be cached

(stored) anywhere for later use and recall. The internet is virtually forever. Use caution about identifying yourself or others, especially your location and personal information.

• Google and YouTube will verify your identity to ensure that you are a real person and to provide accountability to you for what you post.• Posting copyrighted material (video, movies, music, images) is illegal

and you could face criminal prosecution if you use content without permission from the owner.• YouTube WILL REMOVE your video if it is offensive or violates

copyright law.• Once you have satisfied yourself that the content you are about to

use is ‘common’ or ‘safe’ to post, upload your video to YouTube by selecting the file from your computer/device.
