CHAPTER ONE: OPTIMIZING YOUR CHANNEL

Welcome to chapter one , Optimizing your channel.

Selecting a niche

First of all we need to pick a niche, as an example for this whole eBook, lets choose Make money Online niche.

By the way any of who you are a bit unsure on how to find a niche, then revert back to our 1st eBook chapter one.

Ok so you should of now have selected a niche

Creating your YouTube Account/Channel

We are now going to set up our YouTube channel. If you have an account already, we suggest setting up a new account for every niche you pick

If your existing videos in that channel that are not related to your niche, then this may harm your business image.

When coming to open your YouTube account, you should appear as a normal genuine person who comes across helpful and not an


annoying selling spammer.

BUT

At the same time, you want to be professional.

People like to buy from people that know what they are talking about

You should hold yourself and treat your image as a Business.

They do not want to know the ins and outs of your personal life!

This is where a lot of people go wrong with social media

So remember these things:

1. Be genuine2. Be helpful3. Be useful4. Be a business5. Be Knowledgeable6. Be an expert7. Keep up with the trends

And these people will buy something that you recommend.

This tactic has always worked for us and has never failed

Acting as a genuine helpful person will always work, why? because this is how you build a relationship and trust to your subscribers

More on this later. So you can use your real name or a fake name, whatever suits you.

We found using a real name and being us was a big advantage, because in that case we can give them a link to our Facebook or


Twitter page as well etc again this is a sign of trust, plus it really is just good business sense

If your audience see you are on Facebook, they will know for sure you are a real normal genuine person, that automatically builds trust between yourself and the audience. But hey, you dont have to do this, we have a number of channels where we have used fake names, obviously in this case you cant upload videos of yourself, but it doesnt matter, as long as you are giving your audience good content within your niche that is useful and helpful

Then we guarantee people will subscribe to you...

Remember trust i s important

Just come across as real, genuine and helpful as you can and you will be fine.

Ok

So decide on your niche and username.

Good usernames should be niche related OR an online alias name for instance: SuperOnlineMoney or James G. Something catchy!

SO simply fill out the account information and your away.

Optimizing your channel

So your channel is now ready, the first most important thing we do now is to optimize our channel.

So

Choose a profile picture that again looks genuine, we dont want cheesy photos or professional looking photos. Just a normal genuine photo, something that you would upload on Facebook or


Twitter.

On a quick note if you do decide to create a fake account, then what we would suggest is ask a family member or even a friend if we can use his/hers photo

That works fine for us. Anyway you get the principle!

Now its time to fill out the profile information, this includes a bit about yourself and your channel information. Look at this screenshot, here you will see a perfect example of your channel information should look.

As you can see here I (James) have made out to be a helpful genuine person, again this has always worked wonders for us. so


feel free to try it.

Ok so by now you should have a Youtube channel with a photo and all the relevant channel information. Next thing is to make our channel a little nice. Bring up your channel page and at the very topclick on Themes and Background.

From here you can edit the theme of your channel, change the color of the text, font size and you can change the background image of your channel.

Another thing bear in mind is you are ultimately going to be setting up and running a business, so if you can make a good backdrop for your channel, maybe even some logos etc. It will help

Not essential but well worth it.

Uploading Your video content.

So by now your channel should be looking a lot better and presentable to your audience.

You now need to add some video content. Now you have a choice, you can make a greeting video of yourself talking in the on webcam or video

Or you can either find some video on the internet that is related to your niche, the video must only be free helpful information that again is related only to your niche, if you decide to do a greeting video, then make a simple video at least 3-4 minutes long


Helpful Tip

Try to keep all your videos short, 5mins or under, people prefer to watch short videos! It really will make a difference.

Be friendly and helpful to your audience, ask your audience to subscribe to your channel for the latest FREE training on

"How to make money online"

And maybe include a bit about yourself, you wont go wrong with them tactics but anyway you get the principle. But again you dont have to make any recording of yourself if you dont want too.

One last thing to mention, remember you can add video annotations to your video e.g.

"Subscribe here for latest FREE training"

something like that. Remember it all boils down to common sense, if something does not look right, change it until you are happy.

Optimize Your Video With Key words, titles and tags.

Ok now this is an important stage for your traffic platform. Once uploading any video to your channel, you must optimize the video with the most suitable keywords, titles and tags for your video, get this part wrong, then your videos will not rank in the YouTube


search engine.

If you are a bit unsure on this subject, you can revert back to our 1st eBook

page 46, chapter 4.

Here we explain this entire process in extreme detail. Its an awesome chapter.

Helpful Tips:

If you want to see a real live case study of a video getting ranked at the top of the 1st page, then check out one of James's videos in the members area

The video got ranked number one for a very powerful keyword that had a lot of competition, and the video still got ranked regardless of that, which is proof the method works!

And most of all it took only 3 months to rank number one for that keyword. Videos can take years to rank, thats if they even do rank!

The key is simply adding the most suitable keywords, tags and titles to your video's. That case video in fact had 35,000 views in a few weeks, now thats pretty amazing, why? well the facts show that about 85% of videos that are uploaded onto YouTube will not even receive a 100 views a month. Without titles, tags and keywords

Your video will be blind to the YouTube search engine. Again this is a very powerful secret we are sharing with you.

On a personal note.

Remember the biggest rule of all, before you try and sell anything to your subscribers, you should upload at least 3 videos of FREE useful information about subjects in your niche before you sell anything!

Why?

Because after your subscribers have watched and received free information, they would of got to know you and respect you more

You just formed a bond and trust with your subscribers, remember this is everything, once your subscribers trust you, they are so much more likely to buy from you

And of course this then means that any product you want topromote in the future to your list, will be even more easier to sell. Its simple stuff really, its common sense.

Help your list Respect your list DO NOT SPAM YOUR LIST.


Helpful tip:

You do not have to upload all 3 videos on to your channel at the same time.

In our experience the best way to do it is over a period of time, and obviously consistently throughout the life of your business.

So how would we handle this?

Well we would upload our initial first video, this could vary from us talking on webcam or just content that is related to our niche, simple.

Then we would wait until the channel would we reach about 50-70 subscribers before uploading a 2nd video, then so forth. This has worked well for us. A good tip here, so try and bare it in mind.

Upload your third video at 500 subscribers.

So What should of you achieved by now?

In These vital stages, you should have :

Selected a profitable niche for your channel. Have YouTube channel up and running. Your channel optimized (picture, channel information and

themes. Uploaded optimized video content to your channel.

This was an important chapter

Once you have completed this entire process in this chapter, You have most of the work out the way So well done

So what do you need now? That's right, traffic.. Well lets move on to chapter 2.

CHAPTER TWO: TARGET CHANNELS TO HIJACK.

So, its now time to start getting your channel viral.

The method we are going to show you "Hijacking" as we like to call it.

It is a little secret of ours that we only mention in this course, its a very powerful method that can acquire targeted traffic without manually trying to find a traffic source yourself, as we have said this can be tedious and time consuming process, as you know!

But using this method it is simply not the case. You are driving your own traffic!

For this example we will use the Make money online Niche, what you are going to be doing is, searching for YouTube Channels within your niche that have high amounts of Subscribers.

Then you are going to Hijack that channel's subscribers, what this means is, youre going to Add as a friend and Subscribe to every single Subscriber in the channel you chose to Hijack.

By following the Hijack method, you know for sure that the traffic is targeted within your niche because they are obviously subscribed to this channel for a reason

Because they are interested in making money online so to speak. This method is proven and very successful

It is the First important step to get targeted traffic.

So Why Am I Adding People To Friends And Subscribing ToThem?


Let us explain the reasons for adding as many people as you can and subscribing to them at the same time.

YouTube Friends can get your more viewers and subscribers on your videos.

All you need to do is go around adding as many Friends as you can within your niche and at the same time subscribing to them.

And eventually you will have loads of friends and subscribers You may be thinking whats the point in this? Well most people when they get sent a Friend Request they go to the user and check out their videos and usually subscribe as well!

The more people you add the more views and subscribers you get!

Now the reason we subscribe at the same time, is because usuallypeople will subscribe straight back to your channel in return, againthis is another great way to get subscribers. Does it make a bit more sense now?

When you get a lot of friends you can "Share" your video or videos to them and get lots more views! The more friends you add, the more subscribers and video views you will get. Simple right?

When your channel starts to have a lot of friends, people that visit your "channel" see that you have a lot of friends and add you as a friend. Im not sure why they do this but trust me they do! On one of my channels is getting about 30-40 friend requests a day.

How Do I find a channel to Hijack?

So youre probably wondering now how to find channels to Hijack. Well can we just say its very simple. The way this works is, we go to Youtube search engine and we type in a keyword that is closest to our niche, so we type in e.g. "Make money online". When the


page loads, you will see this at the top of the page:

Under the category Sort by:

You will see View Count highlighted, the drill is, click on View Count every time you carry out a Hijack search, why? because we know that the first three page of videos will show videos with huge view rates, so we then naturally know that the channel should have a high amounts of subscribers.

A video with high views normally means the Channel is popular and is crawling with subscribers.

Simple Stuff!!

When coming to view a channel and you cant see the Subscribers box in the channel, then all you need to ever do is put the user name of the channel inside this link:

This will bring you straight to the Channels Subscribers box

From here you can start your Hijacking

The Chanel's Criteria - What gives us the green light to Go.

Now you need to find a channel that matches this criteria:

The channel is 100% related to your niche All of the videos in the channel are related to the same niche.

(more info below) The channel has at least 50 subscribers or it can get a bit

tedious when subscribing and adding friends to your channel, but its your choice.

A bit more detail, of criteria 2.

If the channel has all kind of different videos uploaded, Then this means the traffic maybe mixed around in all types of different niches

In simple terms, the traffic could be totally unrelated to your niche, therefore your subscribers would not be targeted

This may result in having non responsive Subscriber list to sell to


A good example of this is shown below, for this example, we want to Hijack Subscribers who are interested in making money online..

As you can see here

This is a perfect example of a channel NOT to Hijack

The channel we chose to Hijack is in fact a channel with all different types of niches, from fitness, Game technology to make money online etc.

The audience who are subscribed to this channel could be subscribed to any of these niches.

The subscribers that we want to Hijack, are obviously people who are interested in making money online


Anyway you get the picture of what we are saying. At the end of the day, things will get very tedious if you start manually checking your subscribers profile before subscribing to them. So just make sure that all of the uploaded video content on the channel you Hijack, is all related to the same niche.

Note: The Hijacking method of course works for any niche, its the exact same principle. Anyway enough said on this.

Here is an example below of a perfect channel to hijack

Niche: Make money online.

So here is a good example of an ideal perfect channel to Hijack. As


you can see this channel is 100% related to our niche, all the video content is related to our niche. We know that this channel is focused only in the Make money online niche, therefore we know that the subscribers we are Hijacking will be targeted traffic. The next thing good you can see in this channel, is the amount of targeted users that are subscribed to this channel.

In the same principle for all niches, these are the kind of channels you want to be Hijacking

The Green light is on, Im ready to Hijack.

So, By now you should have followed the criteria rules and have found a suitable channel to Hijack that is within your Niche.


Your objective now is to Add and subscribe to as many people as you can in that channel. Once you are finished and have added/subscribed to as many people as you can in that channel, then simply move onto the next one. Easy stuff

Useful Information:

YouTube allows you to add and subscribe to people, roughly once every minute on a consistent basis. So you are averaging 60 people an hour.

So here is an example of how we handle this. We added/subscribed to 10 people, then left it 10 minutes, then did the same process again until we reached our target of 60 people an hour.

There are about 40 subscribers per page, so our routine was to complete the 1st page, then half of the next page. Stick to a routine and it becomes easier and before you know it you have added and subscribed to mass amounts of people. So can it get any easier than that? the answer is yes!

Lets show you how the easiest way to use this software.

So Your obviously already going to be interested in this software

I mean who wouldnt be?

Well lets go more into this We are now going to show you how we use this software and show you exact steps we would take. So the first thing we need to do, is carry out the normal drill and find a channel that meets our criteria. Once we have a channel that meets the criteria, its time to open up Tube Tool Box.

When the software loads and is ready, we then copy and paste the username of the channel we are Hijacking, into the "Gather From User" bar. Here is an example below:


We then gather all Subscribers from that channel. So as you can see the channel I chose to Hijack, has 157 subscribers that Im now about to Hijack to my account. it will gather all 157 in about 10 seconds! Great stuff.

So what does the "gather from User" feature actually do for you?

Well the term "Gather" obviously means the software will gather allusers from that channel it will then put them into a folder.

When you feel you have gathered enough users, its then time to start adding and subscribing to all of your gathered users that you have collected.

Now as you can see from the screenshot above, you can actually gather users from almost every module in a YouTube Channel, this includes:


Channel Friends Channel Video comments Channel Subscribers Channel subscriptions Video favorites Channel comments Channel Bulletins.

So all in all you can gather users from just about any module in a users Channel. Amazing?

Now the only Feature you will ever really need to use, is theSubscribers feature (Highlighted Above). But Its really your choice.

When using this whole theory, we, ourselves, only ever need to target the Channels Subscribers.

We only say this because the channels that we gather users from, normally have a very high amount of subscribers, subscribed to that channel, so we feel its not necessary to hijack from other modules.

But like we said, you can take it a step further and Hijack users any module that you decide on.

But before we move on, we just want to show you one more feature of the software that you can use to filter users to your criteria before they are gathered.

This is something called "Targeted spider search"

As you can see from above, you can carry out a more targeted search to filter out the users who you do not wish to gather.

We have had a lot of success with this feature, we are a big fan of the "Users Last Logged in" feature.

We love the fact that this feature allows you to blank out all the inactive YouTube users and just to target the users that have logged in recently, this ensures us that our gathered users will be active traffic great stuff.

Its definitely worth checking this feature out because it can be very useful if you are looking for a more thorough filtered search before they are gathered into your "gathered users" folder.

If you decide to use this feature, the way it works is, you bring up the page you want to gather first, then you carry out the spider


search

And dont worry about the software gathering only the 1st page, it will automatically go onto the next page and so forth until all users have been gathered.

Anyway so once the software has Gathered all the subscribers in that channel, you will see :

Press close and this now brings you back to the main page of the software. So we now should have 157 gathered subscriber IDs in our "Gathered users" folder.

So as you can see we have our 157 gathered users, but remember there not just users, to us they are targeted traffic within our niche!

So whats next after the software has gathered my chosen subscribers. Well the next step now is to send out bulk friend requests to all your gathered users.

So we now click Send Friend Requests under the heading Automated Bulk Processes, this can be found middle left, once clicked, then this box will appear:


From here you can select your "Gathered users folder" by clicking into "Add Recipients", then once selecting your "Gathered users folder" you can then start the software to do its job.

Keep the Delay settings as how we have shown you on theexample above, this enables you to get the fastest results, we did a lot of testing with this feature and concluded that, "0mins 10sec" -"0mins 10sec" proved to be the fastest results.

Now the clever thing with this software, it can add people as a friend and subscribe to them at the same time. The other greatthing is that the software will automatically start adding people when the friend request limit is over.

The software will add 10 people in a minute, after the 10 people have been added/subscribed the software will then wait 10 minutes and then start the same process again on complete autopilot.

Pretty sweet right?

So in this chapter, we are now going to show you some additional effective methods that we use every day to help increase the chances of getting our Youtube channel viral.

Youtube itself has a lot of features that you can take advantage of to help drive traffic to your channel. You can exploit all of these features and turn them around into your favor

Again, most people on YouTube do not realize the power of how you can use these features and how effective they can be at driving traffic to your channel and videos.

So below is a list of all YouTube features that you can use to your advantage to drive traffic to your YouTube channel and help get you viral.

Send personal messages to a user Post comments on a users channel Post text comments on videos Share videos with your friends and subscribers Post bulletins to your subscribers post video responses Subscription invite link Set up a YouTube group Contact the user of popular channel within your niche

Now lets go into a bit more detail, and give a description of each Youtube feature, how it helps your channel get viral and why its effective.

So..


Send messages to users - This is a perfect feature for when you want to message all of your Youtube friends, a good way of letting people know you have more upcoming videos or anything like that.

The message will go straight to the users inbox. This is quite a powerful feature that can be used to your advantage to help get your channel viral.

Here is an example below, of how the message will appear in the users inbox.

Post comments on users channel - This feature allows you to send mass comments to users channels, the great thing about this feature is that you can send comments to users channels who you are not even friends with.

This feature gives you a great opportunity to invite other users within your niche to your channel and get them to subscribe to you.

This is a good tactic to get users to subscribe to you and helps your channel to get more viral, reasons for this, is because, if you wereto leave a comment in a very popular channel (related to yourniche) that was getting a lot of views, then this is a good opportunity to exploit this sitting traffic and steal a small portion for yourself.

So when people see the comment you left, they should hopefully click on your profile, check you out and subscribe to you.

When leaving a channel comment, make sure you include the


capitals, remember we want viewers to read this comment and hopefully click on our profile, this always works well.

An example below.

Post text comments on videos - The way this works, you gather a heap load of videos from other channels that are related to your niche, then you can simply post a comment on each video that you gathered, again another great feature to help your channel viral.

This is because, if you leave a comment on a video with high traffic (high views), then obviously people will see your comment and hopefully click on your profile.

When thinking of a message to write, just put yourself in the viewers shoes, what would they want to see and what would make themclick your profile? simple stuff guys, its just using your common sense. So just a quick example below of a video comment:

Share video with your friends and subscribers - This a very handy feature that allows you to share video content with your friends and subscribers. The video content can be your own that you uploaded, or it can be other video content from other channels.

When uploading new video content, all of your subscribers will be notified of this, your subscribers will be notified with an email subscription update sent to their mail inbox. When sharing videos


with your friends, they will be notified via a YouTube inbox message

This is a good thing, because we know that the user will definitely see the message. Sharing video content with friends and subscribers is effective and will help get your channel and your videos viral.

Below is an example of a video sharing message that was sent to a friend.

Niche: Make money online.

The video that I shared, was a video from another user, this was just an example below, to show you what the message looks like when the user opens up your "video share" message.

Post bulletins to your subscribers - Youtube have just recently added a new feature, this is a feature that allows you to post bulletin messages to all of your subscribers, once posting a bulletin message, all of your subscribers will be notified of this message in their recent activity module on there Youtube home page, they will see whatever you decide to post.


So as you can see here from above, when posting a bulletin, it will appear in the "Recent activity" module on your subscribers home page, this screenshot was taken from a friend who is subscribed to my channel, I posted a bulletin and there it shows up, the whole point of this was just to show you and make it clear about what a bulletin looks like.

This is a powerful way of broadcasting whatever you want at just a click of a button, so for example, you want to notify your subscribers that you have upcoming videos on the way, simply just post a bulletin, 5 minutes later, all of your subscribers will be notified of this in their Recent Activity module, its as easy as pie.

To post a bulletin is very simple. Click on your channel home page, and at the very top of the page

you will see this:

So post your bulletin and your away. Anyway enough on this, this is everything you need to know about the Bulletin feature.


Posting video responses.

Whats a Video Response?

A very effective way to get your YouTube videos viral is to use the video response function. (Explained in detail in eBook One)This is a great opportunity to exploit and steal a portion of natural targeted traffic to your video.

Posting a video response is a means of marketing your video by finding popular high viewed videos of the same niche as your video.

After finding a video in the same niche as yours, you will post your video as a video response, creating a connection between that video and yours.

Below is an example of what a video response will look like once posted.

As you can see, the video responses are just underneath the video player, this is very good, because it means the video response module is clearly visible so that viewers can see your video, once posted.

This is where the video Title and Thumbnail plays an important part because this is what helps increase the chances of people clicking on your video.

So to attach your own video content, click the "Attach a video" button, then click on "Choose a video" from here you can select any


video content that is uploaded to your channel. Click "Use the selected video" and your done.

Subscription invite link

A great way to gain more subscribers to your channel is to send out a subscription invite link to a targeted traffic source that is obviously related to your niche, this can work wonders and will help you increase subscribers over night.

So lets show you an example in the make money online niche, of a place where we would broadcast our YouTube subscription invite link.

1) visit the warrior forum and login http://www.warriorforum.com/. (Internet marketing forum)

2) create a thread/topic.3) fill out the entire thread, full of useful and free information

about how to make money online.4) place the invite link at the top and bottom of the page, telling

the audience to subscribe to your channel if they want MOREinformation on how to make money online.

Now on some days the warrior forum will get more than 1500 people viewing certain forum threads at the same time, so we can


really use this fact to our advantage and exploit this free sitting traffic.

It will work for any niche, its up to you to find a source of traffic within your niche, then send out your link with some free information, this works very well. Enough on this now

Moving on

Create a Youtube Group

Join or Create YouTube Groups

YouTube has a strong community of groups that exist for users to discuss and share videos. You can browse for groups to join by category, or create your own group from the YouTube Groups page. There are advantages to both approaches.

Join a group - If you manage to find a group that fits your content- niche, you can join it in a single click, and then have the ability to post videos or comments to the group discussion area. This is a great opportunity to get your new uploaded content viral and known to the YouTube community.

Taking part in a group won't necessarily take up a great deal of your time, but it will provide you with a very nicely segmented, targeted audience for your content.

You can then add your videos, describe and discuss them and interact with other like-minded users. All the while you will be building your network of YouTube contacts, and potentially winning new subscribers to your channel, great stuff.

The major advantage of joining a pre-existing group is the fact that it will already have at least a small group of active users from the word go, while creating your own group may involve waiting for new members to join before you have any opportunity to promote your


work. But there are however advantages of creating your own group.

Create a group - The advantages of creating your own group thatis related to your niche, is that you can Invite all of your own friends from your channel into your group, the more members you have in your group, it means your group will get more viral and then people will start to join your group automatically and then hope fully subscribe to your channel.

When it comes to inviting friends to your group, they possibly may of not ever joined a group before, if this is the case, then a group module box will appear at the bottom of the their channel.

Below is an example of James joining a make money online group for the 1st time, so therefore the group module appears on James channel, and the group he joined is at the number one spot forJames group module.

We can use this fact to our advantage because essentially the user is now advertising your group on their channel, so any YouTube user that checks out a profile and see's your group under the group module, chances are they will see your group underneath the users group module and should hopefully join your group then subscribe to you


And remember, when a YouTube user joins your group, it obviously means they are targeted traffic or why would they have joined your group in the first place

They are obviously interested in your niche, hence why the user joined your group.

So to make this clear, every time a user joins your group and its the1st group they have joined, then it means that your group will show up as the number one spot in there group module box that appears at the bottom of the users channel

Overall this is great tactic to get help get your group more viral.

One last thing on this topic, the owner of the group will have a gold star appear in front of your name with your picture above.

So why create a YouTube group?

The whole point in building a group around your niche, is again simply to gain more subscribers to your channel, and we do this by again Uploading a quick video of our self giving away free and helpful information related to your niche and asking our audience to subscribe to our channel.

So an example of a group video, we would give away a bit of free useful information on our niche, then ask the audience to subscribe to our YouTube channel for MO R E free information, this works well and will make people want to subscribe to your channel.


So when your group is up and running with a video uploaded, the first thing you need to do is invite all of your friends to your group.

Now this is where the tube tool box software comes again in to very good use.

Without using the software, this means you have to manually enter the user name into the box below yourself, this can be very tedious and time consuming, obviously. So overall creating a YouTube group around your niche, can prove to be a great too way to increase your subscribers list

This tactic works in the short and long run. On a final note, its not essential you build a group for your niche, but we have pointed out and show you how it can increase your subscribers list, but its completely your choice.
