9th May 2017 Dear Parents/Carers, Re: Year 11 Taster Day at Hertford Regional College On Tuesday 13th June there will be a taster day for Pinewood students looking to attend the college as of September 2017. Outline for the day
• The taster runs from 9:15am to 3.00pm • Sessions take place at Ware Campus, Scotts Road, Ware • The day will consist of meeting tutors and support staff and actively participating in
lessons in order to gain an insight into College life. • No students will be allowed off site while at the college. • Pupils need to wear their own clothes • There is no cost involved • Pupils will need to bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch.
Travel to HRC will be provided by minibus leaving Pinewood at 9.00am returning at 3.10pm, school transport will not be affected. If your son/daughter usually has a school dinner, a packed lunch will be provided by Pinewood, however the campus café will be open should you wish your son/daughter to purchase something there. You can purchase a hot meal and a drink for £4.
