Baikal water is unique and amazing as the lake itself. It’s unusually transparent, clear and rich in oxygen. It was considered to be healthy and healing in old times. It was used to treat different illnesses.

In the spring the transparency of Baikal water is 40 m. It can be explained by the fact that due to the activity of living organisms dwelling there, the water in the lake is mineral and close to distilled.
