Yr10 Induction Day July 3 rd 2012 The outline of the induction day will be as follows: - Welcome by Ms Cheshire, Principal. Baseline test for English. Break Students may wish to bring their own snack/drink but are welcome purchase items from the canteen. Baseline test for mathematics. The students will then take part in a rotation of talks and have their photograph taken. The talks will be from Ms Cheshire and Mr Averis our Principal and Vice Principal. Lunch Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch with them or they can make use of the canteen. The cost of a lunch is approximately £2. Pathway activities will take place for the remainder of the academy day until 4.15pm. There will be no organised activities taking place between 4.15pm and the start of the evening presentation at 6pm. Parents/carers are able to collect students from 4.15pm onwards. Any student who is not being collected will remain inside BOA. Light refreshments will be made available to those who remain. NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES UNLESS THEY ARE COLLECTED IN PERSON. ANY STUDENT LEAVING WILL NEED TO BE SIGNED OUT. Evening Presentation Please arrive at BOA by 5.45pm to allow the presentation to begin promptly at 6pm.
