Makino live a simple and cheerful life with his bestfriend Sato when she finally meet Ren Ishida. He is said to be the campus heartrob and a cold one. He�s very popular in their school. Consequently they fell in love with each other but how can they cope up with it when ishida is bounded by the past he can�t escaped to thus paying it with his current life, and that makino has a secret she couldn�t tell for?? Find out how this story ends. . .

Chapter 1:The Meeting

�Mooh!! I�m going to be late now!!! I have to hurry!!! Makino said while running towards the entrance door of Ryoku Gakuen. While heading towards the door, she bumped someone.

�Are you alright miss? � the strange guy asked. For a split seconds Makino couldn�t answer to him for she was amazed of the charming guy he saw. But then, she recover quickly for she noticed thousands of girls were staring in the both of them.

�Ah!! Hai!!! Arigatou!!!�(Ah! Yes!! Thank you!!!)�Domo�. (Your welcome). He said coldly and automatically left her. Meanwhile

, she seems standing there went black. (He�s very cool!!! Those pair of cold eyes makes him cooler.). Then, her best friends came and approach her.�Ohayou Makino-chan�(Good morning, Makino chan)�Ah... ah! Ohayou, Sakura-chan��Who are you looking at?��Dare?(Who?!?) That---guy�. Then she pointed out him.�Did you know him?� Then,Sakura suddenly hit her head. �Ouch! What did I do??��You don�t know him?? He�s very popular at our school,!!! He�s Ren Ishida!!! The prince of Ryoku Gakuen!!!�(her eyes were sparkling upon saying this).�Ishida Ren?? So he�s the guy that�s been speaking of by the girls in this school?��Atarimae darou!!(Of course!!!!) The class then starts. They were enjoying the lectures and discussion but Makino is caught up in her thought. (�Haah! I can�t forget those pair of cold eyes�).�Class Dismiss!�. In their recess. . . �Makino chan, Let�s eat our snack now.��Hai, sato-kun.�they both eat their snack when Sato ask something.�We will have P.E today, right?��Yeah. . . Don�t worry about it. Open sesame!� as she watched the sight, she was amazed for it was very beautiful and the air is refreshing. She saw Sato kun and accompany doing their activity.�This is truly my secret place.� After a few minutes, she decided to play the violin. (her family was in love with music). There, a harmonic presentation was filled in the empty rooftop. Though, everybody notice the wonderful piece, but they can�t decipher who played it except Sato kun. Everybody else continue their activities. She then continue to play but suddenly pause when she heard someone opened the door. As the door opened. . . �Who are you? �. Makino was shocked for this is the second time she met up with him.�Makino�Hana --- desu.��Soo desu ka? Then what are you doing here? Why did you know this place?��I�m just getting some air here. Sore de�I�m the key keeper of this school.��So you get the another key?��Hai�. Then will you please leave this place for a while? I just wanted to ba alone.��Ah--- Hai!�. Then, Makino immediately leave the rooftop. Meanwhile, Ishida sit on the bench then said:�Somehow her music is wonderful. Hmm. It�s none of my business either.��We met up again! Haaah!!! She seems sitting on the bench, with a knight helding her tightly into his arms when the clock strikes at 12 midnight and the bell from the church rang, she�s like a princess in the scenario. There, she stop playing when a name pop up in her mind.~~Yuki no Hime~~�Ahm, now I have to sleep, I will go to school as early as I can.�In the morning. . . Makino woke up early so that she will go to school to put her letter in the locker. �It�s good, there isn�t anyone else in the school. �. Then, she found the locker of Ishida. After a few minutes, �Ah! There you are! Ishida. . . Ren.�. She got nervous while she�s putting the letter in his locker. After she put it, she immediately went to the rooftop to welcome the morning with a piece of violin.�Somehow, playing violin makes me refreshing. Hmm, now--- it�s the start of the new class. Let me go to my classroom.� When she went to her room ,she decided to study a bit but thne she�s bothered of how Ishida will react to the letter. e then remembered his dreadful past up till now.)Somehow, he got interested in this girl. He immediately went to the rooftop while puzzling who might this girl be. While lying in the bench, he think:�Yesterday? What did I do?� He then try to recall what happened last day but he couldn�t think of a possibility. When the bell rang, he just decided to set it aside temporarily.During the class, the both of them seems to be bothered(although they can catch up) by their each others business. Makino- of what had Ishida reacted to her letter, and Ishida- of the identitiy of �Yuki no Hime�. After the class, makino went home immediately with Sato. �So you managed to give the letter?�� Ie,(No) I�m shy.��Soo desu ka? Don�t be depressed about it then.��Daijobu.(It�s okay) Don�t treat me like a child anymore. Sore ja, sayonara ne, matta ashita.��Yeah.� After she left, Sato went to his home and said: �I don�t want you to leave me Makino, I�m afraid that day will come.�Meanwhile, Ishida came to his house. He then put aside his things and clean his house. After cleaning and cooking, he study after a few hours, he decided to write a letter in response to Yuki no Hime. He just finished writing it when his father phoned up.�Ishida! Go to the main house now! Your mother wants to see you.��Hai, to sama. I�ll go. . ��Don�t you dare call me that! �. Meanwhile, Makino was about to put her letter but she notice something. A letter from Ishida Ren! She don�t know what to do, she is blushing upon picking up the letter. She immediately run towards the classroom cause she�s afraid that Ishida might see her. She can�t concentrate on the class discussion because she was intrigued on what was inside the letter. During the lunch, she decided to go to the rooftop to read the letter.�I hope he�s not here!(wishing)�As she opened the door, she sigh in relief. As she ope

ned the letter, it says:-Yuki no Hime-

Thank you for what you�ve said yesterday. I�m deeply touched by it. It made me realize something. I want to meet you personally. Where can I put my letter, Yuki no Hime? I�m sorry for not remembering what had happened the day before yesterday. I�m also sorry for this letter, I�m not good at it. Have a nice day.Ishida RenShe can�t believe at what had Ishida reacted on it. She�s very happy that he recognized her letter. In any case, she got nervous because he wanted to meet with her. There, she feels her heart beats fast. She didn�t know what to do. Until, she decided to ask advice on Sakura.�Sakura, can I ask you something?��What is it?��If there�s someone that wants� to meet with you, what will you do?��Is that for real?��Of course not! It�s just a survey!��Hmm, Okay. If I were you, I�ll meet with him immediately! It must be destiny! Kyaa!!! Then Makino think for a while and said:�Thank you for the advice. Their getting to know each other. They began telling their secrets. Much to their concern, they were starting to develop deep feelings for each other. They�ve been longing to finally meet in personal. Until one day, Ishida made a plan on how to discover the identity of Yuki no Hime. While Makino was putting the letter in his locker she didn�t notice that Ishida was there behind her, when she turned around, she was cornered by him and place his right hand besides her. They are almost lying in the wall for they are very close.�Say, are you my Yuki no Hime?��Ha---hai!��So we�ve finally met, my hime.� He then touched her hair upon saying this.�Who are you?��Ma�Makino --- Hana desu.��Sounds familiar. Have we met before?��Hai--- we�ve met at the rooftop.��Ahh!!! That violinist girl!!!�End of Chapter 2Next, Chapter 3:When Conflict Begin

Chapter 3:When Conflict Begins�How about a dinner with me tonight?��What?� She was very shock for the sudden invitation. But then, Ishida proceeds and said:�I�ll see you in the rooftop after the class, my princess in the snow.�

During the class, she didn�t listen to any of the discussion for she was thinking on of what should she do, whether to go with him or not.(What should I do? I will go or not?)Meanwhile, her teacher�s been calling her but she didn�t able to haer it. Then, Matsuhira patted her back. �What should I do? ---- Haaah!!!, gomen nasaii . . � Her classmates were laughing then.�You�re daydreaming again. � She decided to keep quiet for she still don�t know the answer for it. After the class, Sato consulted her.�Is there any problem Makino chan?��Ie, betsumi.�(No, nothing)�Then, shall we go home now?��I�ll pass on it. I�m sorry, but there�s somewhere I have to go.�He lowered his head and get close to her and suddenly hug her. Makino was surprised at what he idi.�Sa--- Sato kun. WHaa---��Just when did we stop doing and telling things together I wonder.�Makino was hitted in this realization, she couldn�t say a single word. He�s very cool in his school uniform.then she noticed those pair of cold eyes seems to lighten a bit. His eyes were filled with gentleness and a little bit of loneliness. Ishida notice her and said:�I�m confident you will come.��Hai.��Then, let�s go.�Then they walk towards the main door of Ryoku Gakuen. After they exited the school, they rode a taxi. Much to their concern, Matsuhira is there, looking the two of them from a faraway place. He then went home immediately.�I�m the first to have you, yet you still choose him. Hope he will love you as much as I do if he were to discover �that�.�Meanwhile, Makino and Ishida were enjoying their �date� or probably a dinner. They were teasing each other and discussing on what they have been written in their letters. When they got home, Makino was very happy and immediately played her violin. Meanwhile Ishida was very happy for the first time, he had a beautiful memory whom he�ll treasure in a lifetime.It lasted 16 weeks their �date�. (Actually they are in an intimate relationship at this time.) the both of them were very happy. Makino notice that Sato seems to avoid her, so she decided to confront him one day.�Sato kun, is there any problem? Why won�tyou tell me?��No need Makino chan, you�re lackadaisical on it.��But please, I�m your childhood friend, What can I do for you?��Nothing!(he then glared at her)�then lowered his head. Two hours had passed and Ishida came in their classroom.

Knock. . . knock. . . knock. . . �Haah�You�re here, Ishida.��Is there any problem? Your face looks pale.��Ie, it�s just that someone close to me discovers our relationship. But don�t worry, he�s trust worthy.��Soo desu ka? Why are you depress?��I didn�t give him little time recently. I think he�s angry.� He then hold her hand and said: �Don�t worry about it. He will understand it if he�s your friend.��I guess you�re right.� Then they went to their respected homes. I can�t still forget her.� But after a few minutes, he fell asleep.After what had happened, they�ve been avoiding each other. Until Makino didn�t have the chance to settle their misunderstanding with Sato. Their relationship with Ishida went well. Every night, Sato locked himself in his house occasionally drink liquor in order to forget. Meanwhile, Makino then plays the violin every night worrying what had happened to her childhood friend. Much to their concern, Ishida is also suffering from the sin his parents committed long ago. Thus, paying it with his current life. One day, Sakura and Makino met up.�Sakura chan, can I talk to you?� Sakura then lowered her head and said:�What about it?��He�s been avoiding me lately, I know he�s mad because I didn�t have much time for him recently but I didn�t expect he�d be this serious so I...��Are you really stupid?� She yelled at her that made her shock. Then Sakura slapped her.�Don�t you really know? He loves you! Because of you, he can�t turn back my love! Even after that night! How! How can you be so selfish!� Makino couldn�t say anything. She can�t believe at what she just discovered. Sakura then left her. During the class, she�s glancing at the vacant chair of Sato.(Sato kun, how can you do that? I didn�t expect it, I�ve known you for so long. There�s no way you can do that!)After the class, she met up with Ishida to inform him she have to go early.�Gomen ne, Ishida but I have some business to settle. ���Don�t worry about it.�After then she hurriedly went to Matsuhira�s place.�Sato kun, are you there? I want to talk to you! I have to settle everything! Onegai! Tasukete!)(Ishida, help!!!) These tears made Matsuhira to realize what he�s been doing. He stop and said:�I�m sorry. I didn�t mean it. Just don�t overdo yourself.�But without a word, she immediately left Sato alone.Meanwhile Ishida�s father phoned up�I will go to your school in Friday. I think you�ll have a presentation on that day. I�ll evaluate you if you�re doing well.��Hai.� After a few seconds, he lied in his bed and thought(This is the end Makino. I�m sorry.)They just enjoyed their moments together. Makino despite of what had happened, tries to forget it by sharing it with Ishida. But Ishida didn�t say anything on her. Until the day comes. . . End of Chapter 3Next Chapter 4:The Presentation

Chapter 4:The Presentation�Today is the presentation, Ishida. Ganbatte ne!�(Do your best!!!)She tried to cheer him up when Ishida suddenly hugged her and said:�Will you still love me after this?� Makino was confused at what had he said.�Ishida is there any problem?��Betsumi. I�m just nervous, can you play the Ave Maria for me?��Hai.� She then played the violin. It makes the scenery calm but Makino can�t get out of her mind about what had he said. After 30 minutes, Ishida went to the back stage to prepare. She decided to remain in the rooftop for the meantime.�God! What on earth is happening?�A lot had happened to them, she didn�t know this was going too far. After a few minutes she then went to the audience seat to give him moral support. Before the presentation starts the emcee announced the evaluators for the presentation. She was then shock when the emcee says that one of them was Kazuki ren. She was nervous during the presentation. The audience were very impressed and they gave a thunderous round of applause after their presentation. The other evaluators were impressed in their performance except Ishida�s father.�It�s good for an amateur, I mean; you should be more reliable with that role. �Hai.� The three of them were heading towards the location of Ishida�s airplane. The airplane starts to depart when Makino and accompany came to the location.�Oh no! The airplane starts to depart. � Matsuhira said but Makino seem to heard nothing. She just continue to run to catch the attention of Ishida. After a few seconds Ishida saw her.(I love you, Ishida. Please don�t leave me alone.) Ishida then reply and attempted to escape through the window but his father noticed it and stop him. He lowered his head.(I love you, Makino) with a tears falling down. The airplane then totally departed. Ishida�s words scatter in the country of the rising sun.Makino then lowered her head and end up kneeling on the ground.�He totally left me.� A tear fell down on her face. She cried and cried until there were no more tears to cry. At the same time, Ishida was crying silently for she just lost someone precious to him in the very first time in his life.

Makino�s life is miserable. Every night she dreamed of her together with Ishida. She totally didnt� care of her condition anymore. Somehow by the time Ishida arrived at France, he�s been totally tied up and was punish. Ishida�s life only revolve with this- training to be an heir for his father, to comfort his mother. Their life just continue in this horrible situation. After a few months of meditation, Makino finally realize something. She decided to talk with Sakura and Matsuhira about it.�You see, I haven�t recovered yet from the pain I�ve felt. Thus affecting my health. As she was heading to the rooftop she pause for a while remembering the things. She opened the door and decided to play the violin for a while. While she was playing it she remembered the moments she spent with Ishida. The tears in her eyes started to fall again. She put her hand in her face.�No. Don�t cry. You must not. Let him go.� But it seems her body didn�t follow her command. Big tears was falling down on her face. As he entered the entrance door, he suddenly remembered all the memories with Yuki no Hime, on the contrary, he felt as if somethings� strange. Somehow, the school changes a lot after 6 years.�It seems no one is here. It�s still peaceful and quiet.� He�s heading towards the school and he roamed around, he then paused a while and get something in his pocket. He went to the rooftop and opened it with his key. As he opened it he immediately remembered Makino playing the violin here. He stared at there with a blank expression. He�s just in that position for a while.

After how many hours of doing her work. Makino got tired and decided to have a break. She get her violin to play in the rooftop to ease her tiredness.�Somehow playing the violin at the rooftop makes my condition gets better.� She then went to the rooftop, as she put her key to open it, she felt a strange atmosphere and she suddenly got nervous. After a few seconds, she decided to put it aside and think(it�s just my imagination) and she finally opened it. as she opened the door she was very shock and didin�t know what to do � she was a man there standing, looking at the other side and finally looking at her. Their eyes went watery and the feeling of longing for each other arose. Though Makino isn�t sure about this somehow her instinct is telling her of a certain truth. She drops her violin, she couldn�t endure her mixed feelings anymore, a tear fell from her eyes and made her said out loud, �ISHIDA!!!�. Ishida then, silently cry and called her �MA�KI�NO.� Makino then went immediately in his side and hugged him tightly. Ishida hugged him back as tight as he can.

�I miss you, Makino. Forgive me.��I thought *sobs* you don�t *sobs* love me anymore! I thought you *sobs* finally *sobs* left me!��That didn�t happen, ever. I�ve been loving you all this time.��Don�t leave me alone!! I need you!! I love you!!!� Makino said this while crying like a child. Ishida then smiled to himself for he knew that finally she had her back.�Don�t worry, I won�t leave you again. Having stabbed in my lower right lungs and receiving a bullet, I simply couldn�t feel pain anymore for my body became numb. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the dreadful scenario. In front of me is Dylan, embracing me tightly. Full of blood is running through my body. He was badly hitted by the bullet. We both were losing so much blood.

�I love you. . . Son.� But father continued to pull the trigger and release many bullets. I cried.�NNNNOOOOO!!!!!!!!!� Mother screamed . Father came back to his senses and quickly the ambulance came as the maids heard the noise coming from the bullets. We were quickly rescued to the hospital. We were both in the emergency room for we needed immediate care to resupply our blood. My senses slowly shutting up. I saw him whispering something to the doctor in charged. Then, he looked at me and smile while he reached my hands.

�I love you. . . SON.� Then everything went blank.

As I woke up I saw the nurse taking care of me.�Where. . . Am I?!?��Oh! I�m glad you�re awake. It�s been 5 days since you last lost consciousness. He saved you.� As the nurse gave something to me. It was that necklace. I cried heavily. Yes, he said that I was his son. And he was gone. He donated his blood to me to save me. �I wanted to see.. Mom and Dad.� Then the nurse guided me to my mom�s room. After then I saw father staring at me coldly. When Mom Saw me she went violently and started to threw things to me.�You�re a disgrace!!! This is all your fault!!!! I won�t forgive you!!! Yes!!!! You will pay all that happened to our family with your life!!!!� As she screamed. Father tried to calm mother as he pleaded to me.�Go out of this room now!!! I can�t accept you as my son. You will pay it with your current life. You will be my slave for life.� I cried for how they detest me so much. How I wish I could still turn back the time, back then we were a happy and peaceful family. But everything was torn into pieces. Though I�m still weak I tried to run as fast as I could. I bumped someone.�Oh. Boy are you alright?!?� then I saw that nurse.�I�m not. *sobs* please take me away from this area.� Then the nurse comforted me.�Poor young boy. It must be hard on you. You want to see your him?!?� �Yes.. Take me there.� As I said while crying. We were riding a car towards the cemetery. Finally, I�ve calmed down though the realization about my identity haven�t sinked in to me totally. And then I saw his Grave.�Before he died he pleaded us to do something for you. � the nurse said . then someone whom I didn�t know came and gave me a piece of folder.� This are the Last Will and Testament of my friend and client, Dylan Michigan. He passes all his wealth and properties to you boy. But, only when you�re in the appropriate age you will receive everything. He loves you more than anyone does.� I cried at what he said. I didn�t understand anything. For now, I just wanted to be completely alone. �Please leave me for a moment.� After a while they gave me some privacy.�I don�t know how much I owe you. Thank you for saving my life. . . Father.� When tears began to fall in my face again. I opened the necklace he gave me and I saw our pic. That was when We went to the mall and have a picture sometime. Our first and last memory being with each other.

�Baka Ishida!!!(You stupid Ishida!!) If you really love me, you shouldn�t bear it all alone!!! You�re a coward Ishida!!!� as Makino said aftershe heard the story of Ishida�s Past.

�Yes, I�m a coward and I�m sorry for that. I�m just too afraid to get you involved in the misery I�ve encountered. But I will never let you go again.�

After then they enjoyed and make up for the time they lose together. They went to the places that brings back the memory of Yuki no Hime and their love story.

�I think we should let Sato kun and Sakura chan know about this.� �That would be good but I doubt if they�ll accept me.���Enough. You�ve suffered so much. � she then suddenly kissed him . Ishida was forced to go with her

�Sato kun, Sakura chan, I have a surprise for the both of you. Ishida came back!!��WHAT? He left you! And now he had the guts to return for you? Is he totally nuts or desperate?� Sakura said but Matsuhira approached her.�Don�t worry, Ishida already knew that this might happen, that�s why he�s making a distance from us. I�ll explain everything. Please listen.� Makino then explained to them what happened for the past years.�We�re sorry because we misjudge him. He�s been bearing the sins, pain and sufferings alone. ��Don�t worry, his relation with his family went well recently. Let�s just walk forward in the future.��I agree with it. but, you think you should tell him of your current situation.� Matsuhira reminded her. She lowered her head and said �I don�t want to. I hust wanted to enjoy my life with him. Please don�t tell him that I have Leukemia.� Though they were against it, they were force to follow her for the sake of her health. Starting that day, the four of them went well. They were enjoying each other�s company. Matsuhira and Sakura�s relationship improved. Ishida runs the company well while Makino wad trice as energetic and inspired than before. They had a date during weekends. They continue their relationship and start over again with �Yuki no HIme�s� existence. They were contented with their own lives. After a few months, Ishida made a special a unique surprise for their monthsary.�Happy Anniversary, Makino��Thank you, Ishida� the both of them kissed. The venue was wonderful. They were in the beach of Ishida�s resort surrounded with Sakura petals, with a table covered with bouquet of flowers with the violinist playing for them.�I love you Ishida.��I love you too, Makino.� They were enjoying the gentle breeze when Ishida pick something in his pocket and knelt down.�Makino Hana. I, Ishida Ren here in front of you to ask your hand. Will you be my wife?� Makino was touched and she gladly accept it.�Yes, Ishida Ren. It�s my honor and pleasure to take your name.� Finally, they can take their path together now. When the day ended they can�t sleep for what happened. They couldn�t wait for that day to come. They�ve been discussing the the plan about their wedding. Matsuhira was said to be the best man while Sakura was said to b

e the bride�s maid. After few months, Makino seems strange�and Ishida seems to notice it. She�s been having frequent headaches and somehow her resistance weaken. �Makino, Are you okay?��Hmm? Yes, I�m okay.��Are you sure? You�ve been acting strange lately.� He held her hand.�Don�t worry, I know myself. Also, I�ll go to check with Sato kun to assure you I�m okay.��Fine. If that�s what you want.� Then they continue with their discussions. At night, she went up to Matsuhira�s hospital to have a check up. After a few hours of taking up some tests, he told her about her condition.�Makino chan, the cancer cells have spread all over your body now. You�re critical.� Makino couldn�t speak for a few minutes upon hearing it from him.�Is there�other solutions?� she was nervous and worried upon hearing it. �You should say it to him now and have a bone marrow transplant.��I don�t want to! He must not know about this! I don�t want him to worry. Besides, I don�t want to spend my life in the hospital!��But what will you do? � she couldn�t answer him. She lowered her head . Matsuhira gave up on her and sigh heavily.�Don�t overdo yourself and keep maintaining these tablets. But there�s only a slim chances that it will lighten your condition.��Arigatou, Sato kun.� After that she immediately went to her home. �I�m only 22 yrs old but I have these kind of disease. I don�t want him to worry. I have to fight for it. for our sake.� She cried heavily while sobbing.

Makino kept this as a secret on Ishida. As time goes by, she can�t help to follow all the advices of Matsuhira for she don�t want to tell him the truth. She�s affected every time Ishida discusses of their wedding. She don�t want to ruin this blooming sensation of their relationship. She continued on drinking the tablets but somehow the symptoms get frequent. After a month she went to Matsuhira to have a check up again. �Makino.. you only have 2 months left.��Why?!?��Well, you see. In every 1000 years, there�s a one rare sickness that inherited Leukemia as an inborn disease. Your family inherited that blood. And according to the genetic history, you are the one who seem to inherit it. I told you, even the slightest wrong thing to do is fatal in your condition.��No!!! I won�t accept it!!��For now, all We can do is to lengthen your lifespan. You must have a bone marrow transplant, Makino.��I just wanted to live my life to its fullest!! I don�t want to spend my life with all the therapies and operations.� As she said while crying heavily.�But, this is the only option you have now Makino. You must take this chance even if it�s slim.� Matsuhira said while holding his tears back. He�s badly hurt seeing Makino in grieve pain.�I don�t want to be like that last Leukemia patient a thousand year ago. I�ve decided on it. I�ll never go on a bone marrow transplant no matter what.�Matsuhira heavily sighed. He don�t know what to do with her anymore.�Will you tell him everything?!?��No. I can�t do that.��BUT----� �Please, I want to be alone.�After her check up, she immediately went to her home. She didn�t know what to do, she only have 2 months left. What she will do with these remaining days? Everytime she think of it, she couldn�t help to blame God of what she is now. She just want to spend her remaining life with Ishida. Now, she cy heavily for she can�t endure the pain. After a few minutes, she fell asleep.

Chapter 9Last Wish

Makino went to Ishida�s company since it is her day off. When she was there, the staff were very busy preparing for their business presentation.

�It seems he�s very busy. I think I�ll just roam around for a while. I don�t want to disturb him.� After 3 hours of roaming around she felt weak until she fainted.

Meanwhile, Ishida went back to his private office when he saw Makino lying in the floor.

�Makino, are you all right?!? Please hang on.� Then he immediately get her in to his office. After he lied her on the couch he touched her forehead.

�It�s hot. I should get some ice.� Then he went to his mini fridge to get some ice and then chopped it and placed it in her forehead. Then, he phoned Matsuhira up.

�Matsuhira, I need you. Makino fainted and she has a high temperature.� After a few minutes, Matsuhira came and handled Makino�s situation, then he decided to talk to him in private.

�Come with me for a while.�

�Aye.�

The both of them went to the rooftop. Ishida felt nervous about it.

�So. How�s she?!?�

�Are you willing to know the entire truth?!? Will you still love her despite of all?!?�

�Yes. I�m willing. I�ve once loose her, now I�m not letting her go whatever happens.� After a few seconds, Matsuhira took a deep breath and finally said.

�She�s critical. She has Leukemia.� Those words brought Ishida into a major shock.

�How---come?!?�

�She has inherited the genes. Their family has a history of that disease. I�m afraid she will not live that long.�

�How--- much time she has left?!?�

�About. . . 2 months.�

�What --- Should - - - I - - - do?!?�

�Please don�t tell her that you already knew. It will sadden her. Make her life wonderful up to its fullest.�

�I see.� He covered his eyes and cried.

After their conversation, MAtsuhira went back to the hospital while Ishida went

to Makino�s place. He don�t know what to do anymore. He just kissed her forehead when she suddenly woke up and got curious when a tear in Ishida�s face fell.

�Ishida what�s wrong?!?�

�Nothing. I�m just worried about what happened to you. You fainted.� Makino got nervous for he might have discovered her sickness already.

�Nothing. I�m just tired so I fainted. Did Matsuhira came?!?�

�Err, yes but he says you�re okay.�

�did he said anything to you?!?�

�None. Why?!?�

�Oh, nothing. Nevermind.� And with that, she sighed. After that, he suddenly hugged her that made her confuse.

�Do you want to have a vacation, Makino?!?�

�Vacation?!? But why?!? What about our wedding preparation?!?�

�Let�s leave it to them. I just wanted to spend time with you. You know, life is too short.�

�Ye- yeah.� And so, the both of them spent a vacation. They cancelled all their business appointments and went to a faraway place.

******************************************************************************************** �This place is so peaceful.�

�Yeah. I mean it to be peaceful just for you, Makino.�

They�ve been enjoying their vacation. They just roam around the island during the day and they went to the veranda to admire the beach while Makino is playing the violin. Her symptoms came often, especially in midnights�she woke up to drink her tablets. All this time, she�s been hiding it from him. Much to her concern, Ishida is inceridbly hurt as seeing her suffering secretly. He decided to do all means just to make her happy. Since then, they were having a relationship like that of a husband and wife as their wedding is fastly approaching. But one day, a horrible thing happen. . .

�Makino, are you done cooking for our dinner?!?�

�It will be finish in a few minutes.�

�then I�ll just wait for you in the veranda.� While She was cooking didn�t notice the knife�s edge is facing in her direction and as she was able to move to put the vegetables in the frying pan, her stomach was accidentally stabbed. The blood then continue to flow when she cried.

�No!! This can�t happen!!!!� She cried as she screamed. Ishida notice the sudden noise and went to the kitchen. There, he found her lying in the floor drenched with too much blood.

�Ishida, I��

�Don�t worry. Everything will be fine.� He then lift her like a bridal style. But before she could reply, she got unconscious. The ambulance immediately came in their house and carried her to the hospital.

�Please hang on, Makino. Please do anything to save her, Matsuhira.�

�I�ll try my best.� It took 3 hours before Matsuhira returned to him.

�how�s she?!?�

�She lost much blood. She�s critical.� This words made Ishida seem to break down. He slowly went down until he totally kneeled on the floor.

�no!!! This shouldn�t happen.!!!!� Matsuhira couldn�t say a word that would comfort him. All he can do is to leave him all alone for him to meditate and be calm. Ishida cried heavily for he can�t imagine a life without her. He decided to went to the small chapel in the hospital to pray to God.

�God, I know it�s been a long time since I last call for your presence. I don�t even know if I�m worthy to lean on you right now. But there�s something in my heart that made me believe in you. All this time, my life is filled in darkness. All of them despised me. But when I�ve met Makino, she change everything. He�s my life, my every breath. I love her and I need her. Please let her live. I�m willing to sacrifice everything for her sake.�

He�s just there, releasing the pain he felt and had fallen asleep. After several hours he woke up and went to Makino�s room.

�what happened?!?�

�You lost consciousness after the incident.� Makino then lowered her head.

�You�already knew right?!?�

�Yeah. But I won�t let you die. Please have a bone marrow transplant.� As he cried to kneel down and beg to her.

�I don�t want to. I want to spend my remaining life with you Ishida.�

�But we must not give up, even if the chances are slim, we must take a risk. We must fight for it Makino. �

�If that�s what you want, then it�s fine with me.�

Starting that day, Makino undergo her bone marrow transplant. It took 8 hours after the operation and attended some chemotherapies and sessions. But it seems all things reached their limitations. The level of haemoglobin continues to drop down despite of the operation. After that, they returned to their vacation house.

�Why are you still awake?!?�

�I�m watching for its arrival.�

�whose arrival?!?�. He then sat to close to her in the veranda.

�Yuki(snow)�

�Do you love it that much?!?�

�Yes. I wanted to see it.�

�Don�t worry. You�ll be. Let�s go. You must not overdo yourself.� Then the both of them went to their room.

�You�ll sleep first, Ishida. I�ll just write some notes of this day. Don�t worry, it won�t take long.� �Hai.� Then she wrote a letter silently. She was crying upon writing. Ishida on the otherhand, is crying for he knew that this �YUKI� is her last wish.

Chapter 10

New Beginning

As the days go by, Makino is waiting for the winter to come. But each day, she was disappointed for not seeing it. until the last night, the last night before their wedding day. It finally came. It was cold when Makino stayed at the veranda while playing the violin in her wheelchair. She pause for a while for she sensed a cold ice falling in her head.

�Yuki. I�m glad you came.� Ishida then suddenly came.

�Ishida, let�s go to the beach. I longed to see it.�

�Sure� then, they went to the beach and stayed along the seashore.

�It�s pure white, isn�t it?!?�

He lowered his head as his tear fell in his eyes.

�Yes. It�s very beautiful.� There was a total silence in both of them. After a few minutes, she broke up the silence.

�It all started here right? Yuki no hime, where I get my codename.�

�Yes. I�m glad to meet you. I love you Makino.�

�I love you too Ishida, Please don�t forget how beautiful the snow is.�

�Yeah..�

�Ishida, it�s time.�

�don�t do this Makino, Please!!!� As he shrieked in pain.

�After this, please put all my memories in the rooftop. Bury me together with this snow. Read the letter when you reach Ryoku Gakuen. Please?!?� As she begged to me. I was forced to answer him in my utmost �happiness� for her not to be sadden.

�Yes. I will. My Dear.�

�Yukatta ne.(That�s good.)� She then closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

�Ne, Makino chan, Don�t ever forget, I love you. You�ll always be my Yuki No Hime.�

�Wakatta wa. Aishiteru, Ishida.(I understand, I love You, Ishida)�. After a few seconds, Makino�s hand went down.

�MAKINO!!!!� she looks like the Princess in the Snow, sleeping gently with a prince in his side. Though he�s excruciating from great pain and agony, he knew he had to fulfil her last wish. He then buried her into the snow with a big tears in his eyes. She died just in the day of their wedding. The clock strikes at 12 midnight and the sound of the bell from the church lingered in his ear�the whole island was dominated by the sound of the bell.

The next day, he went to Ryoku Gakuen to fulfil her final wish. He opened the door of the rooftop with his key.

�Ohayou, Makino. I�m here. I�ve settled your things here. The letters we exchanged with the codename Yuki ni Hime. You remember it?!? Yes, it�s the fuel of our love.(he then started to cry). The violin, which you love the most. Finally, the letter of yours which I am going to read.�

Ishida Ren,Thank you for everything!!! For loving me, all this time.I�m sorry, for I

cannot be with you today.But please don�t forget, I love you so much that even death can�t separate us. Though, I�m not here anymore, I�ll continue to love and wait for you�eternally. I want you to be happy for me even though this wish will be quite selfish. Please, enjoy your life, treasure every moments you have in your life even though it�s not a worthwhile to remember. My life was blessed because I�ve found someone precious to me, the times I�ve spent with you, are all worth living. See, we�ve suffered but in the end, were meant for each other. I enjoyed a lot, though I have Leukemia, you made me feel that I don�t. How I wish I could be with you for a little more time. But, I�ve reached my limit. Please, build a new memories in your life so that If the day will come when we meet again, I�ll be able to see the warmth and gentleness of your heart. All of this proves that people do exist in this world, and would feel love. Thank You. And I love you. . . Ishida Ren.

Yuki no Hime

He then lowered his head after reading the letter.

�Now, I finally get what�s your last wish. You�re so unfair Makino.� He then started to cry when he felt someone wiped his tears. There, Makino�s soul appeared and said a word.

I Love You Ishida.

The both of them kissed. After a few seconds, she vanished.

�thank you Makino. Until the last breath of your life, You�ve been loving me. For your sake, I want to live my own life and enjoy up to its fullest. Please remember, I Love you. My Yuki no Hime.� The pain he felt lighten up. Though she�s not here physically, she will always be in his heart. This is the one thing the both of them learned at this time. They can never be separated even after death. Ishida will live his life freely with the guidance of Makino. Makino on the otherhand, will continue to love him even in the different world they have. Her existence in this world will remain in Ishida�s soul and heart.

�thank you Ryoku Gakuen, for giving me a precious girl. Then, I leave the two keys here together with her memories. This should be treasured with her. Again, I love You Makino.. Sayonara. . . Sayonara. . . �

He then closed the door.

I know most of you have grudge on me for the ending. Not Satisfied?!? Well, I certainly understand YOUR FEELINGS. I MYSELF EVEN CRIED WHEN I REREAD IT SOME TIME. I admit when I wrote it I�m just bored and I didn�t expect that many of my classmates in high school would love this story and they cried and had a bad feeling towards me. I don�t know if you felt the same way too, maybe for some they were moved by it, for some it�s just normal.

But the major points that I wanted to emphasize in this story are:? Sometimes in our life, no matter how much we love the person and fight for it, We must accept the fact that death is inevitable. And some of our loved ones will be taken to us no matter how hard we resist it.

? Though we were badly hurt with their leaving but still, we continue to hope for life after death and eternal life.

? Love isn�t only measured by the feeling you have towards someone who is still living. Love is unconditional. In this story, Ishida Ren and Makino love each other even the distant world is in a barrier for the both of them.

? Sometimes, no matter how dreadful the past or the memories you had, you should never forget it. though it is hard, it gave you the lessons you learned. You will not be in that way now if you hadn�t encountered that bad happenings in your life.

? Live life to the fullest, sometimes no matter how hard it is, we must learn when to fight back and when to let go. In this story, Ishida Ren decided Makino to let her go even if it�s against his will.

P.S. DEAr Readers!!! I'm Really Sorry!!! I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. But The essence of my story and the message I wanted to convey will be lost if I will change the ending. Some of my classmates later said that it all worth it. Also sorry for the wrong grammars, I have written this story about 3 years ago and so i'm not that good in writing even up to now : ).
