NOTIFICATION In continuation of this office No.Haj/2013/120/274/Pr dated:06/09/2013, the flight schedule of the pilgrims scheduled to leave on 16th to 19th September is hereby notified. The concerned pilgrims shall collect their travel documents two days prior to the date of departure from Haj House, Bemina after 2.00 pm on production of Passport receipt and haj dues pay-in-slip, in original. The pilgrims scheduled to travel by first flight shall report Haj House at 9.00 am on the day of departure while-as the pilgrims travelling by second flight shall report at 11.00 am

Faisalabad Wolves, Paki-stan's domestic Twenty20 champions, will travel to In-dia to take part in the Cham-pions League T20 after the Indian Embassy in Pakistan granted the players their vi-sas following days of uncer-tainty.The Faisalabad players had dispersed on Thursday evening from their train-ing camp and went home assuming they would need time to pack if the visas were issued. The PCB had also told ESPNcricinfo that the visas had neither been issued nor denied. India and Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Sreesanth has been handed a life ban by the BCCI for his involve-ment in spot-fixing in IPL 2013. His Royals team-mate and Mumbai spin-ner Ankeet Chavan was also banned for life, following the board's disci-plinary committee meeting in Delhi on Friday.

Amit Singh, the Gujarat cricketer-turned-bookie, got a five-year ban, while Saurashtra and Royals seamer Siddharth Trivedi is suspended for a year for not reporting an approach among other things. Twenty-one-year-old Harmeet Singh, who was part of India's Under-19 World Cup winning team in 2012 and had a similar charge against him as Trivedi, has been cleared of wrongdoing due to a lack of evidence against him.

There has been no ruling as yet on offspinner Ajit Chandila, the third Royals player who was arrested in May, since he is yet to be questioned by Ravi Sawani, who led the BCCI's probe into the matter. Save for a few days when Chandila was out on bail due to a death in the family, he has been in police or judicial custody since his arrest on May 16, meaning Sawani could not speak to him. How-ever, he was granted bail on Septem-ber 9, so his case should come up soon. Sreesanth and Chavan were out on bail since June 11.

Sreesanth tweeted soon after the news of his ban broke, saying he found it "surprising". "Been tracking the news channels... Me getting a life

ban??!! Very surprising," he said. The tweet was deleted soon after.

While Trivedi is banned from playing any BCCI-organised cricket, the other three are banned from playing any such cricket or in any

way being associated with activities of the Indian board or its affiliates. The penalties were decided upon by the disciplinary committee, com-

prising board president N Srinivasan and vice-presidents, Arun Jaitley and Niranjan Shah. The ban means Trive-di will have to be replaced in Royals' squad for the Champions League T20, which begins on September 21.

The Sawani report had recom-mended bans ranging from five years to life for the four players it found guilty on multiple accounts, including "match-fixing" and "seek-ing or offering a bribe as a reward for match-fixing", the Indian Express reported earlier in the day. The final report adopted a tough tone, saying that none of the players were naive to the propositions of manipulation.

"There is no specific mitigat-ing factor that would require any mercy while sanctioning the afore-said guilty players," Sawani said in the report. "Sreesanth has played a number of international games and was part of the Indian national team which won the inaugural T20 World Cup, 2007 and ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011. He has received the ICC ACSU education programme on many oc-casions. In any case all the three players of Rajasthan Royals who are now being accused and found guilty by the under-signed received the ICC Education Programme just prior to the beginning of the IPL-6 season i.e. on April 5, 2013. The programme was delivered to the entire Rajasthan Royals team by Mr Arrie De Bear, re-gional security manager of the ICC ACSU.

of South Africa in Novem-ber and December. It could involve hosting an ODI tri-

series with Pakistan and Sri Lanka and the details are like-ly to be discussed in Chennai on Saturday, when officials from the three boards attend

an Asian Cricket Council meeting.The ACC meeting is scheduled two days before

Cricket South Africa chief Haroon Lorgat and BCCI sec-retary Sanjay Patel meet in Dubai on the sidelines of an ICC board meeting to try and resolve the impasse over In-dia's tour of South Africa.

If a tri-series is organised, it will effectively replace the limited-overs leg of the bilat-eral series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the UAE, but it would also mean ei-ther a cancelled or severely curtailed India tour of South Africa.

Sri Lanka and Pakistan are set to play two Twenty20 internationals, five ODIs and three Tests from December 11 to January 20. The limit-ed-overs leg concludes on December 27.India's calen-dar includes a short series against West Indies in No-vember and a tour of New Zealand from January 19.

In a meeting with Gra-ham Ford on Friday, Sri Lanka Cricket has asked the senior team's coach to recon-sider his decision to not renew his contract with the team. The lure of a job with Surrey does not feature in Ford's request to end his tenure as the coach, SLC heard in the meeting in which it hoped to convince him to stay.

Dashing Indian bats-man Yuvraj Singh was hard at work at the National Cricket Academy here on Thursday. This is in prep-aration for the upcoming series between the ‘A’ teams of India and West Indies that begins here on Sunday.

After sweating it out indoors at the NCA for most of the day, Yuvraj, the skipper of the Indian ‘A’ side, batted at the nets late in the afternoon for about 20 minutes before going back indoors. The rest of the Indian players were expected to arrive on Thursday evening or on Friday.

Meanwhile, the West Indies team arrived here at around 8 am on Thurs-day and they are ex-pected to have a practice session on Friday. Only vice-captain Veeras-ammy Permaul did not come and is expected on Saturday morning.

Three one-day limited

overs, one T20 and three four-day matches will be played. The limited over matches and T20 will be

played at the M Chinnas-wamy Stadium here, while the four-day matches will

be in Mysore, Shimoga and Hubli.

It was initially planned to have the T20 match in

Shimoga but was later moved here due to logisti-cal and other reasons.

West Indies batting legend Brian Lara will be travelling to India with the Trinidad and Tobago team for the Champions League Twenty20 tour-nament, commencing on September 17 in Mo-hali.

Although not a formal part of the team management, Lara during his visit to India, will be playing a dual role of that of a tourism ambassador and a mentor for the Red Force.

Keen to help the team during the competi-tion, the former West Indies skipper said, "I am just going to be there, not a part of man-agement but as a former cricketer I am will-ing to lend a hand in any way I can.

"I hope I will have a chance to interact with the guys while in India and whatever way I can help. I have always had an open door policy and I look forward to working with the guys, the management, the captain Denesh Ramdin and all the players," he told reporters here.

As a T&T Sports Ambassador, Lara had played a similar role as unofficial adviser to the team

during the recent- ly-concluded Carib-bean Premier League.

"It's an honour to be part of the upcoming trip. I'm happy to be associated with Trinidad & Tobago's participation. We have a team that will make us proud," he said.
