On Getting into MIT: An Interview with Sothira Toch

    By Privanith Keo 10E

Sothira Toch from class 12E was recently awarded a place to study at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) which is ranked in the top 5 universities in the world according to the Times Educational Supplements World University Rankings. 10Es Privanith Keo interviews her about the process of getting into one of the worlds top universities.

Q: What made you apply to MIT?A: This was always the dream that I never dared to dream. But, luckily I have a friend who had a similar dream and we made a deal to send in our applications to our dream schools just for fun. I wasnt sure whether I was going to make the cut but one thing for certain is that I didnt want to spend the rest of my life asking What if?

Q: What are some preparations you did before sending in your application?A: I went through what I call 3 months of hell. I had to study for SATs and TOEFL. Even more, I was re-quired to write so many essays. I cant even count it all on my ngers. But, all of it eventually paid off. It goes to show that hard work is worth it.

Q: What are some extra curricular groups and activities that you put on your application?A: I volunteered with an organization called Cambodia Cares. I joined Olympiads like GENIUS and little things like, joining the science fair, solidarity festival...

Q: What are you going to be majoring in at MIT?A: Biochemistry. This has been clear from experience. I always get excited in biology classes. I nd them extremely interesting and nd it fascinating to learn about whats happening inside our bodies.

Q: Whats an experience you had relating to Biochemistry?A: Recently, there was a breakout of dengue fever in Cambodia and Cambodian doctors identi ed it as an unknown disease and it wasnt until Chinese specialists came in and helped that this disease was identi ed. This fever is actually known all over the world. And, it made me think of standards of medical practice in Cambodia. I want to help Cambodians.

Q: What do your parents think about you getting into MIT?A: My parents arent that fond of me majoring in Biochemistry but they love me and they respect my choice. I love them for that.

Q: What are some important points that colleges look for in potential students?A: Well, scores matter. But, thats not the most important thing. You need to have extracurricular activities. And you dont need to worry about minor discipline issues like bringing candy to class or forgetting your ID card. These dont matter. Another thing thats required is recommendation letters. Dont just ask someone whos going to compliment about you, but somebody who knows you and can write about who you really are. Thank you to Ms. Kim Henry and Ms. Els Vandekerckhove for their letters.

Q: Do you have any last words of encouragement for students who are trying to get into universities abroad?A: Hope for the best, expect the worst. If you fail, remember its not the end of the world. You have to work hard. You have to prove to yourself and the world that you really want it.

This was the rst time I had a chance to visit England and I was very excited. There were ve students from my class, 7B, three students from 7A, one from 9B and two great teachers; Mr. Mehmet Esen and Mr. Yakup Aktoprak. My friends and I visited great places, met different people and tasted delicious food. The group went through a number of exciting adventures. The part of the trip I liked most was visiting the London Eye. We took many photos and we could see all over London. The part of the trip I was not glad about was that we had to travel by bus, train, underground and overground, to get around London, but I still enjoyed the trip immeasurably. It was a memorable part of my life. I strongly recommend that if you have a chance to visit, go for it.

The exam week was very stressful, so afterwards I went for a relaxing visit to explore London with some of my friends and two helpful teachers. We had a great time together! 18:10 (time in Phnom Penh, ICT, GMT+7) on the 15th of April 2013 was the time that we set off on the trip together. Sadly, having known that our considerable adventure would have ended in 10 days, I decided to spend this little time ef ciently and wisely. To arrive in the U.K from Cambodia, it took us about 20 hours, including waiting at the airports and on the ight. When we arrived in London at 05:55 a.m. (time at London Heathrow, GMT), it was very cold. The temperature was 11oC. Immediately, we took a short trip to see what London is like. After that, we went to the hotel to get some rest. During the following day, we had a chance to get on the London sightseeing bus tour to observe and analyze Londons environment, have a brief look at the architecture and see the people. Each morning, from the third day until the end of the trip, we had three classes at a fantastic English course and every time after the class we went to have some fun at many amazing places in London such as: Big Ben, the London Eye, the London Dungeon, West eld London, Cineworld (where we watched Iron Man 3). until 10 p.m. or sometimes 11 p.m. then we just went back to the hotel. It was pretty fun and it was a very great time that we spent together.

After the midterm exams, everything has changed completely, like day and night. It was the time to relax and happy days started, it was time for a great 12 days trip to England. This was an amazing experience, the groups rst chance to visit somewhere very far from home without our parents. Parents are considered to be the sole people who always take care of us and keep us safe. This time I left home without my parents under the supervi-sion of my great homeroom teacher Mr. Mehmet Esen, and great supervisor Mr. Yakup Aktoprak. There were 9 students in total, 3 students from 7A; me, Senghap Ouk, Rathnorak Leang, 5 students from 7B; Kiry Kong, Chamroeun Chhay, Vitou Vathna, Hokheng Ung, and Sithivung Heng, and 1 student from 9B; Chanakara Pols-inoun, the eldest of the group among the students. On the evening of the 15th of April, we departed from Phnom Penh at 6:10 p.m. (time in Phnom Penh, ICT GMT+7) and arrived at Singapore Changi Airport at 9:10 p.m. (time in Singapore, SGT GMT+8) than left Singapore for England. The ight took over 13 hours. It was bor-ing to be on an airplane, but it had a small TV on which we could watch movies, play games, and listen to music.

In contrast to the weather in Phnom Penh, the weather in London was very cold. On the rst day, we visited an amazing Turkish restaurant and had an unforgettable breakfast, then we had a rest at the hotel. On the second day, we took a Sightseeing Bus Tour. Every morning we had a lesson at Islington Centre of English. Our hotel was far from the school so we needed to wake up early, have breakfast then take a bus to the underground sta-tion after that we took an underground train to our school. We started a lesson at 9 a.m. and nished at 12 noon. Our lessons were about grammar and when we had some free time we sang songs and acted out stories together. In the afternoon we went to places like Chelsea Stadium, Madame Tussauds, Big Ben, the London Eye, Tower Hill, Tower Bridge, The London Dungeon, Thames Cruise, the British Museum, the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, the National Maritime Museum, shopping on Oxford Street, West eld Shopping Centre, shopping at Harrods, Park, Nike Town, CineWorld Cinema (to watch Iron Man 3), Cambridge including a visit to a college, Wisdom School Visit... Our dinner was often Turkish or Chinese food. We were outside and had a lot fun each day until 10 p.m. when we went back to hotel to have a rest and get ready for the next day. The teachers made a surprise birthday party for Chanakara, they bought a cake and surprised him in his room; we had fun together taking photos and enjoyed the cake, time was running out!! The nal day was coming; we discussed together and organized a party for our teacher in London, called Ms.Pamela. We bought a cake and a gift for her. She was surprised and she almost dropped tears of joy. After the celebration, we went shopping and spent our money buying gifts for our families. We had bought chocolates, shoes, lotions, perfumes, watches and more. The nal day arrived, we had to leave London and y back to Cambodia.

Finally, doubtless to say that I had a great time on our trip with school. Thank you very much for your kindness in helping to take care of and protect us in London Mr.Mehmet & Mr.Yakup.

I had lot of fun staying in London. It was a wonderful trip, there was a lot of stuff to do and many exciting places such as museums, the London Eye, the London Dungeon, huge shopping malls and more. I went on a big, open-tio red bus and it went around London for sightseeing which takes more than 3 hours, so that you can see great places, buildings and wonderful parks. The London Eye and Big Ben were so cool. When I saw it, it made me feel fresh and nothing boring in my brain. I went to see 4D near the London Eye and I went to Cinema World to watch Iron Man 3. I also went to the London Dungeon it was my favorite place ever. Every day I attended a school for studying English for half-a-day, but it was fun sometimes I had a lesson in which I was acting, like a drama lesson, and I even had a chance to play some exciting games. The classes took place 5 days a week from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. I stayed in a pretty good hotel. We had to ride a tube train with more than 2 changes of line to go to the school everyday. We visited lots of shopping malls to do shopping, to taste various kinds of food and lots of stuff to buy. I love London and I hope to go there again and again. Many thanks to Mr. Mehmet and Mr. Yakup for their help.

On the 15th of April, my friends and I went to London with two friendly teachers. We went to the Nike store, the London Eye, the London Dungeon, Chelsea Stadium and more fantastic places. We had a lot fun there. The food was tasty. Everyone has missed London since we returned. It was a great experience and a memorable trip. Thanks a lot to the school and Mr. Mehmet and Mr. Yakup for their huge help.

I was feeling nervous, because I was going to a country that I had never been before. That country is the UK. It takes a long time to get there. First we landed in Singapore, then we took off to the UK. I went with my Math teacher Mr. Mehmet, Mr. Yakup and my friends. We went there and met a new teacher. Her name was Pamela. She was so kind. We have been a lot of places and we had a lot fun together. We couldnt be there forever. Then we went back to Cambodia with happy faces. Everything was fantastic and enjoyable. At the last day of the course we made a party for Ms. Pamela and we also gave the farewell care to her and the people who guided us. We hope that we can go there again. Thanks a lot to teacher Mehmet and Yakup.

Fundraising at Zaman UniversityBy Sokha Chen 9E

On May, 23rd, there was a Fundraising Con-cert at Zaman University. We practiced sing-ing for about a week. It was such a wonder-ful thing that we made. We participated just because we felt like helping orphanages. I felt so scared and I did not know whether I could do it or not. I did not believe in myself because I had never ever been on stage to sing in front of many people before. It was my rst time. Because of the support of my classmates, I decided to go on stage where I would sing a song. We practiced, but not so often because we had so many obstacles such as holidays and not having too much free time, but at least we did try our best to do so. It is going to be our turn, friends! I said. My heart was thumping badly. I could have fainted right there before I got on stage. Try your best and be who you are, said my friends. I hate being on stage and singing songs because my voice is terribly bad. I got to be in front of many people and

lots of eyes were looking at me and many ears where listening to the song. I felt like I was on the sky and ew to wherever, a place without people. I tried my best to nish the singing and the clapping started. Showing people that I was the best was not the reason that I had decided to join the show. I did it because there are many orphans who need $2 per day to live. Their lives depend on the $2, so if we can make a change in their lives, why shouldnt we do it. I did not mind what people thought of me, but I did think of the orphans lives that depend on the $2. It was so much fun that I got to do the right thing to help others. It was my pleasure to help them. We try to do things for people who are in need. Nobody knows whether they will live for many years or die in a second time? But, we should be able to think, just before you die, that you have done all the good things you could with others. Together, we can change the world and be proud of ourselves.

People who are stuck focusing on their own happiness cannot nd true happiness. Only making other people happy will let you nd true happiness. There are so many poor, hungry and homeless people who dont even have a roof over their heads while we are complaining about the food we eat and the house we live in. Even if we cannot help all these people around the world, at least we can help the ones who are close to us. So Za-man University arranged a fundraising con-cert to help less privileged people who need our support. To help those people we also joined the concert and I performed togeth-er with two other friends of mine. At rst, I was very nervous, scared and felt too shy to perform in front of students and teachers that I didnt know. When I was on the stage, I was so shy that I couldnt even look at the audience. We all tried our best, even if we werent as good as the others I am very happy to be part of this organisation. It is a wonderful feeling to do something for those who are in need.

EAT TO LIVE, DONT LIVE TO EAT

I wanted to join because I wanted to try to sing and I wanted to help other peoples lives by those $2 tickets. It can save peoples lives for one day by buying food and other essential things. Oh! Anyway I am a dancer. When I went to have a rehearsal for the rst time, I made a shameful mess of my practice on stage and I felt a bit disappointed. After that, I decided to practice very hard during the break times, so Id improve. The show was coming too soon as I was not ready to be on stage yet. I felt obviously bad and too nervous, because I was scared that I might mess up on stage again. The day came, the show began and I felt so curious. Well, I did a nice job on stage. Thanks for your support by the way. Help-ing others lives is something that people should do. If you do good, good will come back to you in return..

There was only two or three weeks left in the school year, so my class wanted to spend our time together. In fact, adults like hanging out, shopping or having a meal, but my spe-cial class wanted to be different from others. Thats why we decided to have a picnic at the boys dorm. Everything started well. It was a lovely Saturday morning; the weather was cool. The picnic was due to start at 10 a.m. but everyone came early, because we had a lot of plans for things to do together and memories to be made.

Alright, rst thing on the list; we were taking photos full of excitement. When we got in-side the dorm, our phones were ready in our hands too. Except packing place we didnt take photos. Then after changing clothes,

most of our class members jumped into the pool; shouting, making noise and playing around whilst the rest of us sang a song with a guitar. It sounded like an earthquake had hit Cambodia, as I remember.

Two hours later, everybody got tired; sud-denly a strange Kruk-kruk sound started up. Kruk-kruk, kruk-kruk, kruk-ruk, again and again. We did not even know what it was! But soon someone said, hey its the sound of our stomachs rumbling. We looked at each other and it seemed like we hadnt re-alised it before. We held on until we couldnt bear it any longer, because we were hungry. We just had enough power to have our lunch together.

And then it was time to say goodbye. Even though we hadnt spent much time together,

By the way we would like to say thanks to our sweet homeroom teacher Ms. Nurhan and we couldnt forget our assistant teacher either, Ms. Serife. Here, without you both, for us would be an empty place. Without you, it would be like a house without people living in it. Without you, would be like a class without students inside. And if not for you both, we might not have had this great-est activity ever.

    Everything changes but memories dont.

Turkish Day was a very good activity because it helps the students to improve their Turkish language skills and to know more about Turkish culture and Turkish tradi-tions.

On Turkish Day everyone was really hard working and we tried to do it as good as we can, and we just told ourselves, dont worry, be happy, everything will be al-right and the important thing is to try to learn more and try to practice. Everybody already knew that they would be nervous, because it was our rst time. But, my teacher Mrs. Zuhal (who is our homeroom teacher, our Turkish teacher and Club teacher) and my assistant teacher (abla) said to us that they believed we could do it. And after we had nished our Turkish Day, some of us were crying including me because we felt so excited and we couldnt believe that we had managed to do it. It was so amazing for us

Finally, were really thankful to our teacher and abla. We are so lucky to have them. Many thanks to all the teachers, assistant teachers and all of my friends that spent their time to join our Turkish Day

Enjoying the moment is the best thing in the world. Probably, having a Turkish Day

had given us a different type of feeling. There are 17 members in Turkish club (Grade

8). We had done a lot of performances like doing drama, reading poems, dancing,

cooking and singing. Our members, abla and homeroom teacher, Mrs. Zuhal (who

is also our club teacher and Turkish teacher) worked hard to prepare this Turkish

Day. All of us felt so nervous because we were afraid that we could make a mistake

but of course our teacher and the abla always helped us and supported us. We are

so thankful to them as our teacher and abla. At the end of our Turkish Day some of

us even cried, because we had never done something like this before. We were all

speechless, because we couldnt describe how happy we were, but we could say it

was the best moment we have had in our entire lives.

If I were to be asked for a word to describe Z.I.S, it would have to be .. traditions. ZIS has long had tradi-tions in the likes of challenging Olympiads, invigorating interclass subject competitions, soul-enriching soli-darity festivals and, as far back as I could remember, the most amazing tradition of all is letting every student know that a genius lies in the awakening Z.I.Ss very own science fairs! Interestingly it is these traditions that awaken a dull spirit to want to reach greater knowledge and educational pursuits and strive to be different and better. Its in moments of these traditions that memories are built and cherished in the tenure of a students life.

This years science fair was nothing short of spectacular.

Preparations began early on Saturday. Students, who volunteered for the projects, came in perky and excited about laying out the equipment, boards and decorations and to get the fair started.

However, the real fun began on Monday at 8:30. The volunteers and all the students came in very excited about the day that was unfolding slowly. All of us were eager as there were experiments to be conducted and experienced, IQs to be challenged, language skills to be tested and needless to say candies to be won but most of all, fun of learning and discoveries were waiting.

To ensure order and smooth ow of events, teachers doubled as tour guides for groups of students. Each class was chaperoned by a teacher who took them through the entire levels of science, math and English projects. In every corner, there were students. But, no worries. There was de nitely no shortage of projects. A whooping amount of projects were presented at the fair, including; Fill in the Lyrics, Checkers, Balloon Darts, a giant Angry Bird Catapult in the playground, Balancing Chemical Equations and many more.

As I was walking around, I stopped a group of girls walking around and asked them Hows it going so far? they replied with a grin Sabai [Fun]. I asked a few more students the same question and I got pretty much the same answer. Talking to some students on duty, they told me, I joined this fair again, because its fun and exciting. Getting to meet new people, having fun. I wouldve joined even if I got no added points.

The more I walked, the more excited I got. There was this kind of atmosphere- the kind that no words in the English vocabulary could adequately de ne, the kind that usually wasnt around the school much. The knot of tension wasnt there anymore. Everybody was smiling. Laughter echoed down the hallways. This is going to sound extremely sappy but the fun was contagious. Not even the hot weather or smell of sweat was going to bring us down.

Science Fair is all about developing relationships between classes and meeting new people and making memo-ries. Without the fair, we would have probably never met half the people we know and become extremely miserable from the amount of mundane/routine class work that we have to do. Science Fair was a time where boundaries were altered and stretched and having fun and being nurtured alongside it. I dont think its just students who get all the fun. Teachers were looking particularly cheerful walking around the school. Thanks to this, the entire staff and students all shared happy times during the Science Fair.

One event that de nitely caught my attention was the cleaning up process. A wooden table from the canteen which weighs approximately 8-10 kg was carried by students in a bid to clear the space and have the school ready and functioning again the next day. The I student, you cleaner stance was blurred. Boundaries broken and stretched and new friendship and understanding forged in return. All students saw that there was a need and they got down to helping the school and friends get cleared and cleaned. Everybody started standing up and helping pull down the tables.

Soon after, everything was done. It was the perfect end to a great day. A day wherein, a tradition was victori-ously kept up, fresh memories written, discoveries marveled, courage and creativity acknowledged and minds tweaked and challenged with ideas to perform better innovations the following year.

    Quotes

Today, I feel very happy and excited because everyone is showing their own science projects and experiments and I can show them mine as well. Phoumarinrath Muth (7-B)

Students are sharing their knowledge and experiences with their schoolmates. Today, I see smiles on every students face. I had brought all the school together. That is why it is a very special event. Abdulkasim Akhm-edov (Math Teacher)

This years Science Fair has been very exhuasting for me. There were many events happening that have caused me to run around the school a lot. Despite the tiredness, I am enjoying myself a lot. Akchhara Chharom (12F)

When I think of the Science Fair, the rst thing that comes to mind is just fun. Its great to see the students are able to show what smart, fruitful, hopeful and creative young people they are. This gives me a profound sense of hope for the future. Mehmet Esen (Math Teacher)

    8C Class Day

By Sereyreach Dy, Long Long Duch (8C)

This was the rst time that our class, 8C, and our homeroom teacher, Mr. Muhammet Surucu, have put on a class day. It started at 9 a.m. and n-ished at 11 a.m. at Zaman International School cinema room on May 4th. The show was MCd by Reach, Long, Tong and Seng Heng in both Khmer and English. We performed a magic show, sang songs, played the piano, put together a class 8C slide show, sang a special Turkish song, danced, and ran a lottery (with 15 lucky winners) and a quiz. 29 students were there and their parents. One of the highlights was Hoks magic show. There were card tricks, ower tricks, paper tricks, and he even magically set his hands on re.

Before the show, we felt excited, nervous and shy, but it was a lot of fun. We would like to thank our homeroom teacher, Mr. Muhammet Surucu for helping us to organize this fun event.

    Quotes

I had been awake since 6. I got up, had a quick shower and rushed off to the school. I arrived at school at 7 and only 5 friends were there. We all helped each other a lot by sharing food and drinks, putting some decora-tions on stage and sound control. We started at 9 a.m. we ended it perfectly. In the end, we had a delicious lunch with our home room teacher. - Pheang

Hi everybody!!!! My name is Dilen. This was our rst Class Day activity. We just tried to do our best in the time we had, because some parts werent ready. I was the video man. It was my job to record the day. It is not a dif -cult job to do, but our teacher said we had to do what we can. In the middle of the video there was a problem, the memory was full! But, I still re-corded the rest of the performances on my phone and we took some video from other teachers who had also recorded the show. Another thing I did was singing a Turkish song in the group with our friends and teacher. The lyrics of this Turkish song were easy to sing, but we couldnt pronounce it

I was really excited when they said they were going to announce the result of the Physics Photo Contest during the ag ceremony. I heard them call my class 8E for the rst time in this year and my deskmate won the second place. I was very happy for her. Ev-eryone in my class congratulated her with all their heart. Finally they called out my name and I was shocked. I was! I didnt expect what was happening that time.

Actually, I took this photo when I was on a vacation. The sun was shining brightly on me through the window, but when the car turned I saw this building and it was very unusual for me because the sunlight shined in the middle part of the building but when I looked around I started to realize that the light was re ected from another building so it was a re ected ray.

I want to tell you that wherever you go, just think that Physics is all around you.

I was so amazed when I heard my name at the ag ceremony. To be honest, I thought I couldnt win because I saw my friends photos and they were all so outstanding. At rst when I heard 8E I was quite proud of my friends, I knew that one of them would be the winner. But right after that, I heard my name. I thought it was a dream. I guess, I won with my luck. So, I think everyone should always expect the unexpected.

    The Cambodian Peacock Dance

    By Sonty Sun 8B

According to the explanation from the Pailin people, theres a folk tale about the Cambodian Peacock Dance.Once upon a time there was a princess who dreamed about a majestic male peacock that teaches her a nice moral. When she woke up, she thought about how she could find that peacock to teach her the moral again. Day by day, the princess tried to find the solution with not enough sleep and she couldnt eat well because of that peacock. When the king found out, he came to the princesss room and asked her; Oh my daughter! Why dont you eat and sleep?? You are not feeling ok?? Tell me. Maybe I can help you. In that moment, the princess told her dad everything about her dream.

The king understood how his daughter felt and he tried many ways to search for the peacock. One day there was a brave man with knowledge of hunting animals who heard about the news. He quickly used all the methods that he knew to find the peacock for the princess. He used every method that he knew to find the peacock, but he couldnt find it. Suddenly, the peacock appeared on a tree branch and faced the sun. In that moment the peacock jumped down from the tree and danced happily on the ground. The hunter felt excited after he saw the majestic peacock. So, he picked up his cross-bow and thought of shooting the peacocks wings so it couldnt fly away then he would pick up the peacock and tie it to his waist. The hunter tried to shoot many times, but he always missed it. The hunter hid behind a bush and wondered why he couldnt shoot the peacock. He thought that maybe the peacock wasnt a normal peacock, but must be a magical peacock. After two days had passed, the hunter discovered that the peacock would wake up early to meditate and face the sun in the east and continue till the evening, still meditating and face the sun, now in the west, before it goes

    The Cambodian Peacock Dance

back to sleep. The hunter tried to find an idea to stop the peacock from meditating for one day then he could shoot the peacock. The next day, the hunter tried to find a beautiful female peacock and freed it in the front of the male peacocks house. The next morning, the peacock woke up and spread its wings before it started to meditate. It saw the female peacock and it felt extremely happy and it jumped up and down to find the beauti-ful peacock that the hunter had just freed. Unfortunately, the majestic peacock got stuck in the hunters trap. So, the hunter caught the peacock successfully.

The peacock asked the hunter: Oh hunter! What do you want me for? I have been here in this forest for many thousand years, but why? And what do you want to do with me?

The hunter listened to the peacock and felt a lot of pity for the peacock and replied: Oh Peacock!! Im not going to kill you/ I just found out that you know many of the moral sayings and you are just the same as the Buddha. Im going to bring you to the princess in the palace, because she dreams about you and you must teach a moral to her.

The peacock laughed and replied; Dont worry Ill go to teach her a moral every holy-day, from this holy-day onward.

From that day, the peacock always flew to teach the moral to the princess on every holy-day.

According to the above story the Kola Ethnicity always dance the Peacock Dance every holy- day.

An Awesome Day for 8-B StudentsBy Rithirot Sokhom 8B

From one academic year to another, people including teachers, friends and staff members still continue gathering together in Zaman International School which forms an unbelievably big family. We spend a lot of time together creating good memories for everyone. To show them what we could do, on 11th of May, performances were put on by 8B for their Class Day. Singing, acting and dancing were all included in the show. It was held at Zaman Conference Room, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Im so grateful that my class have done something like this. Actually, not many people came, but the main point of this show was not about how many people came, we performed the shows for fun and to spent more time together.

I would like to thank our homeroom teacher, Mr. Mustafa Ozgur, plus our class assistant, T. Murat who helped us to practice the show. Furthermore, thanks to everyone who joined our class day.

I was so afraid that our class day wasnt going to turn out well, but at the end of the celebra-tion, everybody enjoyed our class day party very well, so I was very relieved. I was so angry because my friends didnt come, work out and listen to each other well so I was afraid that the party was not going well for me. I was so nervous because I was the manager of the ceremony and we wanted to do an awesome class day, but we were too late and we didnt have much time to practice.I am very appreciative of our homeroom teacher; Mr.Mustafa Ozgur because he was always with us and he spent all his time with us, except his class time and he solved lots of problem we had about class day. So thanks for everything to my precious homeroom teacher Mr.Mustafa Ozgur and my class friends. I felt so happy to join and to have this class day. I believe that we will do the best class party for next year. I have already planned something to do.

I hope I can enjoy another one next year and I would like to thank to our homeroom teacher Mr. Mustafa Ozgur.
