ZARAGOZA TRADE FAIR ATTENDS THE INTERMAT
EXHIBITION IN ORDER TO PUBLICISE AND PROMOTE
SMOPYC 2017
The trade fair institution has intensified its international
campaign of participation in the leading forums for the
construction industry
Zaragoza, 29 April 2015. Publicity and promotion, entering and operating in new
markets and attracting visitors and exhibitors are some of the reasons why Zaragoza
Trade Fair attended the Intermat Exhibition, recently held in Paris, with the overall
aim of publicising and promoting the next edition of SMOPYC.
The Zaragoza-based event, which will take place from 4 to 7 April 2017, is generating
a great deal of expectation amongst industry professionals, who agree that the
situation is changing and
circumstances are now
more hopeful after the
difficulties of recent years
in the construction and
public-works sectors.
SMOPYC was presented at
the Paris Intermat with a
firm commitment to
becoming a driver of development and recovery for the industry. Over the course of
several days the commercial team organised an intensive schedule of meetings,
2
interviews and participation in the various events that were arranged by leading
companies in the construction industry.
SMOPYC also participated through its informative stand, which was located next to
the stand of the Spanish Manufacturers Association of Construction and Mining
Equipment (ANMOPYC) in Pavilion 6. This zone was also home to the stands of
institutions and official bodies, and very close to the area set aside for
manufacturers involved in the earthmoving and public-works sectors.
The significant levels of interest generated by SMOPYC 2017, and the growing
expectations around one of the world’s largest specialist trade fairs for public works
and construction machinery, was confirmed in the numerous meetings and
interviews that were held with the leading representatives of the major brands that
were present at Intermat, and consolidated in the meetings with the directors of the
most important industrial associations in the countries that took part in the event.
These meetings included talks with the representatives of the group delegations for
China, Turkey, the USA, the UK, Taiwan and South Korea.
Strategies for promoting internationalisation, innovation and development are
defining characteristics of the forthcoming edition of
SMOPYC, which looks to energise the industry
and open up new markets for companies.
