He lived on mount Olympus

He is the god of sky and thunder

His symbol was a lighting bolt

Pegasus

Zeus had a winged horse called Pegasus

Pegasus carried Zeus lighting bolts

Zeus had an Eagle to fetch the bolts of lighting

Zeus powers

Zeus had lots of powers

Zeus could throw lighting bolts

He controlled the weather

He could copy voices and shape shift

Zeus could turn people into animals

Zeus and the family

Zeus father was Cronus a titan ruler

Zeus banished his father as ruler of the titans.

Zeus had two brothers Hades and Poseidon

Hades was the ruler of the under world

Poseidon was the ruler of the sea

Hera was Zeus’ wife – she was also his sister –

and queen of gods.

Zeus had lots of children. One of them was Her-

cules who was half human and half god.
