The Zinser 451 model family for worsted yarn spinning offers maximum flexibility:The basic machine is the Zinser 451 for classic ring spinning. The Zinser 451+ ring spinning machine is a classic worsted yarn ring spinning machine with all the highlights of the Zinser 451 basic machine. It is also prepared for compact spinning and can be con- verted retrospectively.

In addition to classic ring spinning and compact spinning, Zinser offers spin finger technology. The Zinser 451s ring spinning machine with spin fingers is available as a classic spin finger machine as well as a machine that is prepared for compact spinning. The machine type Zinser 451s Impact FX is already intended ex works for use as a compact spinning machine in combination with spin fingers.

SynchroDrive – synchronous operation of all spindles, uniform twist in yarnSynchroDrive ensures precise, synchronous operation of the spindles – a prerequisite for the lowest possible twist variations in the spun yarn. The unique Zinser multi-motor single tangential belt drive system is performance-optimised for low energy con-sumption.

Double power in the draft system for long ring spinning machinesSynchroDraft is the name of the powerhouse for long ring spinning machines with up to 1,248 spindles: The middle bottom rollers are driven from both sides. The drafting system drive is optimally syn-chronised.

ServoDraft thinks with you and safeguards your qualityThe closed control circuit ensures that the pre-set draft is precisely maintained. ServoDraft checks the set values for plausibility and consistency before they are used by the machine control system. This prevents yarn breaks and faults. Production data can be stored and called up at any time.

Fast lot changing with EasySpinThe controlled drafting system drive ServoDraft per-mits rapid lot changing times and therefore maximum flexibility. Changing the yarn count and twist is carried out easily and quickly at the EasySpin touchscreen of the machine. Twist and draft are infinitely variable.

Convenient and cost-saving: OptiStart, the automatic ring traveller running-in programThe automatic ring traveller running-in program OptiStart reliably and precisely executes the indivi-dual running-in phases of the ring travellers up to production speed. Higher speeds with OptiStep Ensure maximum productivity with OptiStep. The start-up, tip and main spinning speeds can be de- fined very accurately via a 10-point speed curve. This means you can operate far closer to the tech- nological spinning limit across the entire bobbin build and achieve peak production. The traveller service life is also extended.

The speed turbo: up to 33 % more productiveIn spin finger spinning on the Zinser 451s, the yarn balloon is re-duced by repeated yarn wrapping around the spin finger. At the same time the spinning tension is reduced.

The result is greater productivity. Compared with classic worsted yarn spinning, the yarn break rate in spin finger spinning is con- siderably lower in relation to the speed. You either profit from a more favourable yarn break rate – or you can spin much faster at the same yarn break rate.

Outstanding yarn valuesWith or without spin finger – every Zinser 451 supplies premium worsted yarn all the way. Spin finger technology offers you a sig- nificant increase in productivity at the same time as maximum, constant yarn quality.

Intelligent, low-maintenance technologyImpact FX shows its strength in the worsted yarn spinning process in particular. It is self-cleaning – wool grease, textile auxiliary oils and finishing agents have no effect on it. Top machine performance is guaranteed at all times, with low servicing times and costs.

Top-class results and maximum productivity all the timeThe system is also synonymous with outstanding process reliability and a uniformly high yarn quality. With the Zinser 451 Impact FX you produce compacted and even top-dyed yarns without any problems. Thanks to the separate vacuum unit for the compacting unit, constant compacting is assured by design. Any wool grade can be compacted perfectly with the adjustable tension draft. You simply adjust the transfer to the respective wool fineness and crimping.

Compared with classic ring spinning systems, yarn breaks are reduced by around 50 %. As well as this, the twist factor can be reduced by 10 – 15 % with the same strength and elongation. The Zinser 451 as a stand-alone machine with CoWeMat 395 F fits every space situation because it is spatially independent of the package winding machine. It enables you to produce flexibly and saves on personnel in particular thanks to CoWeFeed’s unique unsorted tube feeding.

The Zinser 451 linked machine with CoWeMat 395 V can be linked to any commercially available package winding machine and reduces your labour and space requirements to a minimum.

Doff automation with maximum efficiency: CoWeMat

Uniquely time-saving: CoWeFeedZinser has the solution with the lowest labour input: CoWeFeed, the unsorted tube feeding. The empty tubes are simply dumped into the feed container – sorting is not required. One filling is sufficient for a full take-off, even with super-long ring spinning machines.

Smart design prevents malfunctionsJammed tubes will not cause CoWeFeed to malfunction, regardlessof their position and orientation. Even with 1,248 spindles, removing the bobbins and feeding the empty tubes is rapidly carried out be-tween two doffs – for maximum productivity.

No checks requiredThe Zinser CoWeMat is synonymous with the world’s most efficient doffing technology. In the case of other doffing systems design-related mal- function risks are known, which require persistent controls. Here, individual leaks can even cause machine stoppage. This is not the case with the CoWeMat: if a gripper malfunctions, the CoWeMat and the machine continue running, because all outer grippers are supplied with compressed air separately from the machine’s vacuum system. A safety membrane in each gripper also ensures that the air-guiding elements are not subjected to mechanical stress.

Even for high-tenacity yarnsA light barrier monitors the smooth flow of the doffing sequence. In the event of a malfunction, the machine shuts down automatically. Even high-tenacity yarns are separated reliably.

The continuous steaming pro-cess between the ring spinning machine and the winding machine additionally reduces the cycle time of production.

Zinser BobbinTray – for greater productivityThe individually guided, round BobbinTrays and the conveyor belt ensure precise positioning dur-ing doffing and a rapid, reliable material flow.

Maximum economic efficiency in linked systemsA linked system with super-long ring spinning machines pays, par-ticularly for the continuous production of big lots without many changes. Many efficiency factors can be optimally exploited, e.g. use of space, coordination of winding and spinning capacity, minimisation of the labour requirement and quality management. As a result, efficiency is increased and production run times are significantly reduced.

Little effort is required on your part to link the ring spinning ma-chines of the Zinser 451 model family with CoWeMat 395 V with all commercially available automatic package winding machines.

Higher package quality, maximum efficiencyThe contactless transfer of the bobbins ensures that 100 % spun yarn quality is maintained.
