AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2019-04, THE CITY OF HARDINSBURG, KENTUCKY’S ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2019 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2020 BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT

WHEREAS, an annual budget proposal and message has been prepared and delivered to the legislative body and, WHEREAS, the legislative body has reviewed such budget proposal and made necessary modifications NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF HARDINSBURG SECTION I That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020 is adopted as follows:

SECTION II This budget ordinance shall be administered by the executive authority as prescribed and set forth in the Kentucky Revised Statues. Administration shall include but not be limited to at least the following: A. Preparation and submission of financial statements, which include budgetary comparisons on not less than a quarterly basis. B. Provide for budget amendments if called for by the Council or anticipated through implementation. C. Prepare any financial statements required for publication purposes pursuant to KRS 424 and 91A. D. Cause each fund of this budget to be audited as prescribed by law. SECTION III This ordinance shall be published in the Breckinridge Herald-News newspaper by title and summary within thirty (30) days after adoption. SECTION IV This ordinance becomes effective immediately upon passage and publication as required by law. Introduced, publicly read and approved on the first reading this 8th day of June, 2020. ORDINANCE NO. 2011-72, TO APPOINT A DIRECTOR OF CEDAR HILLCEMETERY AND ALLOW FOR CO-DIRECTORS

Whereas, the City Council of the City of Irvington, Kentucky has previously adopted Ordinance 2011-72, establishing the position of Director of Cedar Hill Cemetery, and Whereas, the City of Irvington wishes to have the position of Director of Cedar Hill Cemetery to be voted on by the City Council, Now, therefore, be it ordained by the City of Irvington, as follows: Ordinance No. 2011-72, Section 2 is amended to read as follows: The position of Director of Cedar Hill Cemetery is hereby established. This will be a non-paid position. The position will be filled by a vote of the City Council upon the adoption of this Ordinance and each year from said date thereafter. Ordinance No. 2011-72, Section 3 is amended to read as follows: The Director of Cedar Hill Cemetery shall be respon-sible for the day to day operations of said cemetery and may appoint any number of persons to the Cedar Hill Cemetery Advisory Board two additional persons as Co-Directors of the Cedar Hill Cemetery who shall be responsible for the day to day operations of Cedar Hill Cemetery in the event of the Director's absence or other need. Ordinance No. 2011-72, Section 4 is amended to read as follows: All funds received for or by said cemetery shall be held in a separate account by the City Treasurer, not to be co-mingled or used for other city business. All checks and other fmancial transactions (ie Certificates of Deposit, etc.) shall require three two of the following four signatures - the Mayor, the City Clerk, assistant City Clerk. and the Cemetery Director.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and publication as required by law. This ordinance read for the first time on 5-14-2020 and having been read for the second time and passed on 6-1-2020 .
