Study Guide

In this final volume, Miss Mason sought to show us what she had learned over 30+ years as she refined her ideals into a living education and thus gives us tried and tested ideas, suggestions and methods. As with Volume 5, there are no study questions in the back so I decided that in order to study and retain information from this volume, I would use written narration in place of the study questions. Each week, I have tried to stay within a 10-15 pages reading (unless there was a better break) and there is a space to write the narration.

The sections/pages to be read have been posted before the written narration space to help facilitate study along with spaces to record your thoughts, impressions, and actions to be taken in the Points to Ponder and Actions to Take sections at the end of each reading. So the basic outline for this book is as follows:

Tell back the story in your own words, then record the points that stood out to you. Decide how to turn those points into actions and records those in the spaces provided.

I strongly recommend that you look up as unfamiliar words and phrases. Understanding those has increased my ability to comprehend what she is trying to teach us.
