Aim of this courseWhen the role of electronic publishing

becomes more and more important in the world, as a librarian, it would be necessary to catch up the trend in order to face the new challenges brought by new media.

Content of this courseThis course will introduce students to

the basic concepts of electronic publishing and help students to understand the development of e-publishing in publishing industry and its current state; moreover, give students the issues involved in e-publishing in library area.

allocated for the essays and a e-publishing project.
