Following excellent feedback, weare repeating this popular tour toYorkshire which includes trainjourneys on the famous Settle toCarlisle Railway and the HeritageSteam Railway from Embsay toBolton Abbey, as well as visits toSkipton and a canal cruise on theLeeds to Liverpool Canal, a fullyguided Yorkshire Dales excursionand a visit to York and theNational Railway Museum.

ItineraryMonday: Travel to Yorkshire and theMarriott Hollins Hall Hotel.

Tuesday: We begin the day with ascenic steam train journey on theEmbsay to Bolton Abbey HeritageRailway, followed by a visit to thepretty town of Skipton, where wetake a cruise on the Leeds toLiverpool Canal.

Wednesday: Today will be thehighlight of the holiday with ajourney on the famous Settle toCarlisle Railway. With our guide, wetravel through the Yorkshire DalesNational Park to the market town ofAppleby where we board the famoustrain for our journey back to Settle.We then rejoin the coach to return tothe hotel.

Thursday: We enjoy a day trip to thehistoric city of York, including a visit to the National Railway Museum andfree time to explore the city and its famous sights.

Friday: Return to Derbyshire.
