జా్ఞనం కోసం మరియు విజా్త కోసం వల్లంచే ముఖ్యమైన హందూ మంత్రం. చదువులకి మరియు కళలకి అధిదేవత అయిన సరసవతీ దేవిని భారతదేశంలో విద్యయర్థు ల నంచి శాస్త్రవేతతల వరకు అందరూ మారగ దరశకతవం మరియు జా్ఞనం కోసం పూజిస్తత ర్థ. ఈ మంత్రానిి ఆమ భకుత లు ప్రతి ఉదయం వల్లస్తత ర్థ.

యా కుందేందు తుషార హార ధవళా యా శుభ్ర వసా్తవ్రిత యా వీణా వర దండ మండితకర యా శ్వవత పద్యా'సన యా బ్రహాా'చ్యయత శంకరఃప్రభ్రితిభిరే్దవ ైసద్య పూజితా స్త మాం పాతు సరసవతీ భగవతీ నిఃశ్వషజ్ఞడ్యయపహా. || 1 ||

తెలుగు అనవాదం : పదాము, చంద్రుడు, ఉదయపు పుషాాల వంటి తెలుపుదనం కల్గినది; వీణని చేత ధరించి, తెలలని పద్యాసనం మీద కూర్థునిది; బ్రహాా, విష్ణు , మహేశవర్థలతోపాటు దేవతలందరితోన నితయం పూజించబడేది; అయినటువంటి సరసవతీ! ఓ తల్లల ! నా మానసిక జ్డతావనిి తొలగించ్య!

This Prayer is meant for the God of knowledge. As per Hindu mythology Saraswathi, wife of Lord Brahma is the God of knowledge. So, from student to scientist every Indian pray for her blessings in order to get knowledge in their fields. దోరిిర్థయక్తత చతురిి: సఫటికమణినిభరైక్షమాలానేధానా హస్తతనకైేన పదామ్ సితామపిచ శుకమ్ పుసతకమ్ చాపేరణ భాస్తకుందేందు శంఖ్సఫటికమణినిభ భాసమానాసమానా స్త మా వాగే్దవతేయం నివసతు వదనే సరవద్య సుప్రసనాి || 2 ||

Sarasvatii Sarasija-Kesara-Prabhaa Tapasvinii Sita-Kamala-asana-Priyaa | Ghana-Stanii Kamala-Vilolalocanaa Manasvinii Bhavatu Vara-Prasaadinii ||4|| Meaning: Salutations to Devi Saraswati, Who has the Splendour of a Lotus Flower, Who is Tapaswini (literally a Yogi, signifying the Embodiment of Meditation), and Who Loves the Seat of White Lotus, Who has a Firm Bosom and Whose Eyes are Filled with Great Serenity, like the Pure Lotus Petals, Who is Manaswini (literally full of Mind, signifying the Embodiment of Wisdom); O Devi, Please Shower the Boon of Your Grace on us.

Mano Manni-Mahaa-Yoge Vaag-Iishvari Namo Namah | Vaagbhyai Varada-Hastaayai Varadaayai Namo Namah ||10|| Meaning: Who is like a Jewel Shining within the Mind as the Great Yoga, and Who is the Goddess of the Speech; Salutations, Salutations to Her. Who is the Source from where Speech originates, Who extends a Boon-Giving Hand and Who is the Giver of Boons; Salutations, Salutations to Her.

వేద్యయై వేదరూపాయై వేద్యంతాయై నమోనిమః గుణదోష వివరిినైై గుణదీపతయై నమోనిమః ||11|| తెలుగు అనవాదము: స్తక్షాత్తత వేదమే తాన,ై వేదరూపము తాన,ై వేద్యలలోని స్తరము తాన ైఉండే ఓ సరసవతీ, పాపముల నండి లోపముల నండి విడివడి గుణముల చేతనే ప్రక్తశంచే నీకు అనేక నమస్తకరములు తెలుపుతునాిన.

Vedaayai Veda-Ruupaayai Vedaantaayai Namo Namah | Gunna-Dossa-Vivarjinyai Gunna-Diiptyai Namo Namah ||11||

Meaning: Who is Veda Herself (i.e. the Source of All Knowledge), Whose Form represents the Vedas, and Whose Essence is the Culmination of all Vedas contained in the Great Vedanta;Salutations, Salutations to Her. Jnyaana-Vijnyaana-Ruupaayai Jnyaana-Muurte Namo Namah | Naanaa-Shaastra-Svaruupaayai Naanaa-Ruupe Namo Namah ||16|| Meaning: Who is Present in the Form of Knowledge and Intelligence, and Who Embodies Knowledge Itself; Salutations, Salutations to Her. Who is Present as the Essence behind Different Scriptures and in Different Forms;Salutations, Salutations to Her. పదాద్యపదావంశా చ పదారూపే నమోనిమః పరమేషట యై పరామూర్త్యై నమస్తత పాపనాశని ||17||

కమలాక్తరపుషాా చ క్తమరూపే నమోనిమః కపాల్ కరాదీపాత యై కరాద్యయై నమోనిమః ||19|| తెలుగు అనవాదము: సవచఛతకు మూలమైనద్యనవు, అనిి కోరికలన నరవేర్థుద్యనవు అయిన ఓ సరసవతీ, భకుత లు సమరిాంచ్య బలులు సీవకరించ్యద్యనవు, వాటిచే ప్రక్తశంచ్యద్యనవు, వాటి వనకనని శకి త నీవే అయినద్యనవు అయిన నీకు అనేక నమస్తకరములు తెలుపుతునాిన.

Kamala-akara-Pusspaa Ca Kaama-Ruupe Namo Namah | Kapaali Karma-Diiptaayai Karma-Daayai Namo Namah ||19|| Meaning: Who is the Source of Lotus (i.e. Source of Purity) and Whose Form expresses the fulfillment of Wishes; Salutations, Salutations to Her. Who is the Receiver of Oblations, Who Shine with the Oblation of Activities and Who is also the Energy behind those Activities; Salutations, Salutations to Her. స్తయంప్రాతః పఠేనిితయం షణాస్తత్ సిధిిర్థచయతే చోరవాయఘ్ర భయంనాసిత పఠతామ్ శృణవతామపి ||20|| తెలుగు అనవాదము: ఈ స్తత త్రానిి నితయం ఉదయం, స్తయంత్రం ఆర్థనలలు పఠంచినవార్థ ఆ సరసవతి అనగ్రహానిి పందెదర్థ. సకల సిదిులన పందెదర్థ. దీనిని పఠంచ్యట లేద్య వినట వలన దంగల వలన గానీ, క్రూర మృగముల వలన గాని భయానిి పందర్థ.

Saayam Praatah Patthen-Nityam Ssann-Maasaat Siddhir-Ucyate Cora-Vyaaghra-Bhayam Naasti Patthataam Shrnnvataam-Api ||20|| Meaning: Those who Recite this Stotra Regularly in the Early Morning and Evening for Six Months with Devotion, will become Fit for Siddhi (i.e. will receive the Grace of Devi Saraswati), Those who Recite or Listen to this Stotra will Not have the Fear of Thieves (i.e. loss of wealth due to theft) or Tigers (i.e. attack of wild animals).

ఇతవం సరసవతి స్తత త్రం అగసతై మునివాచకం సరవసిదిికరం నృణామ్ సరవపాపప్రణాశనమ్ ||21|| తెలుగు అనవాదము: అగసతై ముని సవరపరచిన ఈ సరసవతీ స్తత త్రం సకల పాపములన నివారించి, అనిి సిదిులకు ద్యరిచూపుతుంది. ఇతి శ్రీ అగసతై మునిప్రోకతం సరసవతీస్తత త్రం సంపూరుమ్

Ittham Sarasvatii-Stotram Agastya-Muni-Vaacakam | Sarva-Siddhi-Karam Nrrnnaam Sarva-Paapa-Prannaashannam ||21|| Meaning: Thus this Saraswati Stotram composed by Sage Agastya, ... ...Leads to all Accomplishments and Destroys all Sins. Thus ends the Saraswati Stotram composed by Sage Agastya.
